The drive in. My God I miss my childhood. I remember my mom taking me and my friends. She would make popcorn, and buy some soda's which were in the ice chest. We would pack our sleeping bags, and our chairs. On Tuesdays they would have a special on car loads of people, and sell pizzas for half price. We would get there early, go to the playground and play, then head to the car to watch the double feature. Oh those were the days.

It warms my heart to hear that so many people enjoyed this movie. My brother-in-law Roy Tatum was the creature and young Orville's dad that died in the car crash, young Orville was my nephew Chase Tatum. If you listen real close you can hear my sister calling Chase (young Orville) through the woods. My brother was in the diner scene wearing the red hat. My dad was the executive producer aka the money Man behind it. If you listen real close in the hospital scene you can hear them page my dad. That was at my dad's office across from Centenary college. The crew thought it be funny to put his name in there. By the way The movie scared me as a young boy

This is one of maybe THREE Bigfoot/Yeti movies that are actually good, fun to watch, and well acted. The other two would be (in my opinion) “The Abominable Snowman” from Hammer films, and “The Legend of Boggy Creek”. Each of these three films explores the topic in its own unique way.

Cinematographer Dean Cundey built the monster makeup himself! Co-Star Dennis Fimple appeared in many genre films, including a featured role as “Sunfish” in Dino Di Laurentiis’ 1976 “King Kong” remake, which is also not half bad, and worth checking out.

Actually, this was pretty good, for what it is. I wasn't quite expecting this to even be watchable, considering what 'Dark Corners Reviews' channel, had rated it. Even Jack Elam (who kinda sucks, with his one-depth personality) was entertaining, and believable. He, AND Dub Taylor (another single, layered actor) played, their parts well. I grew up years ago, watching almost every Bigfoot type of film, I could see, but this is seriously, one of the best.

It was actually a 44 magnum. Two things if you look at the scene before the sheriff comes into the tent you'll see the end of the barrel. For two I was on set most of the movie, and loving guns in our family and the fact that I had never seen a 44 Magnum in that configuration I got to hold it. Supervised of course because I was like 9 years old

I've never seen a Ruger 10/22 with such insane recoil!! He must have been using HOT reloads!!!

LOL! Mine sure doesnt kick at all. Frankly, I carried a .308 lever rifle on my '70's backwoods excursions. We were hunting Colorado cattle mutilators. Probably best we didnt find any...

I’ve been trying to figure out his rifle for years. For a long time I thought it was an M1 Carbine without a magazine and they were just working the bolt and shooting a blank. Now that the film quality is cleaned up, it looks more like a Ruger 10/22 but the cartridges he’s messing with in the van look longer than .22 LR...BUT it looks like he’s feeding them into some kind of tubular magazine like a shotgun or lever action from the belly.
