As a prior member of the USAF and also someone who had done crash recovery on Cessna 172, y’all did great. My experience were three in South Korea in a year that were from the Base i was stationed at. We mentioned that we could just take the wings off and be gone on a couple of them, but Uncle Sugar just had us cut the wings off with gas powered saws. I would have preferred to make it so the plane could fly again. They were sent to South Korean scrap yards. It was sad. I have been In Military Aircraft Maintenance for just shy of 30 years. Good work. Clean job and you just kept another 172 in the air, where it belongs.

Ground loops on a tailwheel aircraft are more common than a tricycle landing gear due to the center of gravity. You aren't done flying an aircraft until it is chained to the tarmac. Hopefully this Cessna 170 will be back in the air.

Always excited to watch one of your recovers. Actually any video you put out are awesome, I'm a 76 year old fan and this lady gets the biggest kick out of your crew , not only the way you all work as a team but the joking around between good friends. Every time you guys post anything about aviation I get excited first of all, then I remember the recovery you guys did of the plane and the pilot up on that mountain and how sad that was. I'm very happy that this pilot is there helping recover his plane instead of the other way around. Flying is so much fun but you just ever know what can happen when you take of each time.
