This game feels like the crucible from mass effect but instead of it being the culmination of races from previous cycles, it's the culmination of many devs that have come and gone over the years.

Developing video games is challenging and if you once try a software like Godot, GameMaker or anything else you can see how a seemingly small thing can be annoyance. I am now learning the foundations of coding, hopefully 1-2 years I could start my own games. The fact this game is complex, have no real paid professional just unprofessional or semi professional volunteer on the project makes it slower but at least they can do work on the game when they feel to. It's costs only time but the drawback is the game progressing slowly. I hope anyone worked in the game and still in, also whom left will be recognized because this game while simple currently but promising and with time it will be much better. Hopefully once they figure out how things can be done, then the game will progressing in a better pace (experience and skill improves). Also there is some other spore clone games what can be an ideal example for improving the game. Still if nothing else for the music I start the game when I have the mood.

I kind of wish they'd get past multicellular and come back with patches later, the basics of single cell are already there.

The problem with that is that this is a HUGE project. In the beggining the devs tried doing that, but eventually decided to work on the project one after another, so they can have something working. Thankfully the microbe stage is quite close to being finished, so it won’t be too far away

you could improve multicellularity and multicellular beings such as one species having the shape of a human being and the other having the shape made like this. then I would like a multicellularity very similar to the realistic one such as veins, an immune system, diseases, things like that. thank you for listening.

Are they? Everyone seems to understand this game is a *really* long burn, especially being a volunteer project. There's still a fair bit to be done for the cell stage anyway.

Then you haven't seen the reaction from Steam comments on the prototypes. Everyone really hated the fact that we did quick prototypes for all of the stages instead of fully dedicating to just completing the microbe stage as soon as possible.
