Love content blocks! Can't think of anything else to add to the library other than what highly successful blogs and funnels are doing. Awesome work Thrive Themes!

I've used the content blocks, especially the step-by-step blocks. I like how they give my blog posts a magazine style layout, and the content blocks help with that. Hope to see more block templates.

Great Video, Shane. I have taken to creating a few Blog and Page layouts and building the entire page in a Content Box. Then, I can save the content box and use it wheneven I want to add a Page or Post. It is pre-formatted, so it will be easy for a VA to simple replace existing content. My Calls to Action will always be right (could use Symbols here). The layout and style will always be the same. I have not used the pre-formatted Content Blocks yet. I have instead tended to create the components of my site and saved them as Templates. This way, the visual style is the same site wide. But, using Content Blocks would speed up the process.

That's a pretty advanced use case! We may add the option to create your own content blocks in the future. It's not clear yet, though. Unlike other templates, content blocks have some advanced functionality which isn't easy to build. I don't know if we can make this use facing in a user friendly way. But we'll try.

As a Thrive Architect user, the one enhancement I want to see is a much, much easier way to bold text. I still haven't figured this out. Thank you.
@Thrivethemes5 жыл бұрын
You select the text and click on the "B" that stands for Bold in the menu bar on top.

Hello Shane! As always a very informative video. Thank you! I just started using the content blocks and I am very happy with the existence of this option. The appearance of the posts becomes much more "professional". For now I can not think of any suggestions regarding the new content blocks.

One more thing! Any timeframe on when you’ll be updating the recent posts element to have more design options? Right now it’s so basic and it’s the main thing stopping me from using Thrive on my home page and other pages. A recent post carousel and better design templates would be amazing!

We are currently working on that. I believe this feature is scheduled to be released next month. :)

Good..i usually do this using gutenberg, i do have thrive architect membership, but some experts mentioned me that thrive architects adds some unnecessary code to the post which make site speed slow. I wonder if you could comment on this..

Thanks, I'd like a bookshelf template block with the front of book facing out so people can click on book to read a full review and link to Amazon.

Hey Shane. Great video as always. You seem to have no issue with writing blog posts using Thrive Architect. But that makes each post its own template. Is it possible to use Global Fonts so that if I change my font down the road it changes ALL of my blog posts built with Architect?
@Thrivethemes5 жыл бұрын
When you load Thrive Architect on a blog post, it will use your theme's layout, fonts etc. by default. So, if you change anything in your theme, your posts will update, just as they would if you had used the default WordPress editor. It's only when you load a landing page template on a WordPress page that your theme's defaults get overwritten.

Hi, I'm a bit new to Wordpress. So when you make a blog post like this, you make this as a template and attach that template to a page? It's not like the normal blog posts that have the blog post template?

I do not know if you will read this...but here's a question; the already populated blog "template" used was first created with Thrive Themes and then it is updated with Thrive Architect?... if I add a call out or link button in Thrive Architect, will this remain on the same location for every other post I create or can I use different callout links for different posts? - Thanks in Advance!
@Thrivethemes3 жыл бұрын
If you change something on the TEMPLATE level (in Thrive Theme Builder) than this will change on every blog post, if you change something on CONTENT level than you will only change it on one blog post. In our tools, when you see blue in the interface you're editing a template when you see green you're editing content. Hope that helps. - Hanne

If we "just released" it, it wouldn't be finished. If we rushed it, it wouldn't be great. We are choosing to go great but later, since there's no shortage of okay WordPress themes.
