Thrive Architect + Thrive Cart Sales Funnel Tutorial

It's been a while since I first looked at this video. I wasn't ready to implement it then, but I am now. This is a wonderful tutorial and I'll be using it this holiday season and beyond!

Excellent tutorial on how to setup a simple sales funnel with Thrivecart. Im using Thrivecart as my checkout cart and it is VERY powerful. Highly recommend using it with Thrive Architect, and Active Campaign to build out automated sales funnels.

What trips me is that nowhere is explained how users provide their login info. For example: let's say I am a first time visitor to your sales funnel and like what I see. I press the buy now button put in my payment information, and get redirected to the login page. Then I'm supposed to enter my login information. But I never gave them any login information. Can you explain that to me please?

Good question! When you connect your Thrivecart product to your Thrive Apprentice course, and they payment goes through correctly, WordPress generates an account for them automatically on your site. Users get their login details delivered to them via email. You do want to set-up something like Postmark on your site though as WordPress doesn't handle email deliverability very well. - Tony

You can have upsells unlock some other Thrive Apprentice products, or you can send them to a different thank you page as you said 😊 - Tony

Hey Mira - if you set up an evergreen campaign, there would be no countdown timer, but I think everything else would remain the same. Double check the Evergreen campaign settings - full disclosure, I haven't set up an Evergreen campaign yet, but if I'm correct, the only thing that would be different is the timer.

Just wondering why we wouldn't want to embed the Cart at the bottom of the sales page instead of embedding it on another page? I mean, it saves the user one "step", right? Or are we doing this for tracking purposes ? Lol, another question I have is why would we not want to select 'Add them to my membership site' instead of 'Send them to a URL' :P

Depending on what you're selling, you may want to send them to a thank you page or add them to your membership site. Both are valid options. And you can most certainly add the checkout form at the bottom of your sales page. - Tony

One awesome thing with Thrive cart inside your thrive theme is that you can have affiliates promote your product. Then, when they link to your product (their affiliate links) you get backlinks.

That is how Thrivecart does it. It has an "add to order" CTA that lets people add an upsell automatically to their orders. - Tony

Thrive Suite doesn't come with a payment processing system. You need something like Thrivecart, WooCommerce or SendOwl to charge for your products or services. - Tony

Okay, but then how do you restrict access to the course in Architect so only paying customers can see it? And how to you get customers to register? Those are the missing pieces for me. Do I need to ALSO use something like Wishlist?

Like Valerie said, Apprentice allows you to lock courses to only people who have purchased a specific Thrivecart products. No need for wishlist, apprentice + thrive cart is all you need 😄 - Tony

I wouldn't bring Shopify into the picture. But you don't have to use Thrivecart. You can use something like WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads...
