You can, but you'll need to level up the crossbow and you'll have to sacrifice your daggers if you want an upgraded crossbow.

you can swap but they all level up separately. I would not level another weapon swap set until you have your first two fully maxed. otherwise you will be so under powered and behind during leveling

I'm using your guide and doing bow and staff. Its super fun to play and totally agree on the healing. Someone said i was a glass cannon. as I burned through a boss and he was still attacking a minion.

I've been using gs+lb since the beginning, so I've gotten accustomed to the gameplay of the combo. When compared to staff+lb i do like 20% of their damage. Gs+lb just isnt 100% compatible, but despite that it's the most fun to me. I love using my spin to win move with gs

GS longbow means you dont use longbow passives since its requires to take a distance. also on GS you need to be tanky with sns or you need evasion with dagger since everyone hits you. if you mean pve ... in pvp its what ever what combo you will have until we get challenger dungeons

Dagger with cross bow is a quick in and out massive burst dmg. I believe its still the highest dps.

@@MMOLater Ok, I've resisted long enough, downloading now, 1 hr to go! :D So bow/staff is best solo PvE ranged dps combo...? Do the mobs close anyway, so would something like bow/xbow be better for overall gameplay (open world, dungeons, single target/aoe, etc). I want to be as self-sufficient as possible, because, well...hell is other people lol! ;) ---- YAY! Finally downloaded and installed, first startup it just...didn't come up, Try again, ok now it's running. Stuff around with all the settings. Hit Start...Under Maintenance! Don't you just love mmos? And of course it's always going to be in our Oceanic prime time, even if the game is from Korea, almost in the same timezone - gotta keep those yankee masses happy! 🙄

i'm using S&S wand and i really struggle with damage output, i know i'm tank so i dont expect high damage but farming is really slow and i can't find any guid for the PVE gameplay; true that in dungeon i can't complain, but open world farm is a nightmare, i can't die yet i have to fight 5 min a 80K hp elite, should i take a staff to farm or is there a way to be more efficient in open world (also i'm only 2000 gs)

what are you talking about this has been around forever now lol.. Not like the games actually new. Even the last nerf to curse for example didn't stop it lol. This game has so many different pvp scales that they all have strength and weaknesses.. If anything it helps combat META via braking them all up, META in one Trash or mid in another.. But this game will call for META in each of those more then most games. Because its all about hard counters to whatever it currently is.. its an endless loop that will never go away. Thats like Ugly people calling pretty people ugly. Futile.

Rather instead copy another person’s ideas for huge advantages. You in turn create millions of unoriginal and otherwise uninspired ideas amongst the player base that replace the natural selection of skill within the healthiness of the game’s community. Thus veering room for more cheaters, cheesing, exploitation of stats, and less natural diversity and competition within the game itself. METAS ARE STUPID AND RUIN GAMING. Why have 500k players all running dagger and staff builds because someone found a way to hack the system to incentivize the whales 🐋 and try hards??? And you clowns 🤡 wonder 💭 why these bullshit things exist in more prominence now than ever in almost every game that offers class system leveling. @@yigit198 sadly end game is group only farming groups, dungeon groups, pvp groups. But if you want to persevere as a solo player i suggest shield+sword/wand+tome simply because you rely on no-one else, and everyone is afraid of you in pvp so you dont get attacked often and when you do it takes 3 or more to kill you. Con is that you have a hard time getting end game gear from groups because the good players wont invite you unless you're already geared (catch 22). pure solo the answer is shield+sword/wand+tome. if you're willing to group once in a while for endgame gear from grouping, then the other two you named are infinitely better as both will get instant invites to the best groups, the only difference being whether you want melee tank or ranged healer and both are meta you'll be turning down group invites all day as you solo.
