I know it so satisfying. Dagger players are quite easy to read. Just wish more weapon combos were used. Daggers are all you see.

Thank you!! With this setup you will want to practice you're counters and dodges as this weapon combo has a lack of cc immunity. Well that's until you get the Talus Staff.

I really wanted to do this set up but so many people told me it wouldnt be good. Im new and havnt really been able to dive into pvp really. As of right now im 2500 combat power and people on hyperboost are way way geared above that . I just get one shot lol. Do you have a build guide ? I will actually look on your vids now 💪💪

I would say play whatever you want to play as that is how you will enjoy the game the most.| Yah you need a gear score of at least 3200 to be able to fight in PVP. 2500 is just to low. Yeah I have a few videos on a guide for the Greatsword and staff setup. They might be a bit outdated but they still have some good information.

@@Zardos00R honestly i dont really count anything before specilizations came, i atm debating to myself if i should play dagger staff or gs staff , both are so nice but i am having doubts about being able to evade ccs with GS build but also TO HIT is amazing.

Well the meta hasn't really changed all the much since specializations released. The Top weapons just got stronger anyways. The best way to avoid CC is with Daggers It would of provided a bit of insight on how to play GS and Staff in War settings.

Fantastic in pve. U a tanky mage. Gap close in to spam ur melee and than tp out and resume range attack. Lots of cc. Down side, no reliable healing skill and switching between melee and range might not be for everyone

@@demoth After I play for couple days, I found this combo is great since once u cast spell most mob will come towards you....and u can finished them easily with ur melee skills. I feel if you stay top up with your gear and upgrade them.....u are so tanky to the point that you barely need to heal (since u got such high hp from both passive and tons of natural hp regen)

This depends really and how you want to play the game. While GS/Staff is one of the harder weapon combos to use in the game and has a higher skill ceiling . I believe this build offers some really good advantages over dagger and better damage in all situations in PVP. Daggers are not a primary weapon and mostly used for the over tuned skills such as cloak and passives. GS/Dagger is a one trick pony that is quite predictable but has the easiest one shot combo. While it does offer great dps and cc it lacks range and mix ups. It's a great combo for killing noobs but offers lower potential against skilled players. Wand/Dagger is quite good but it does lack consistent dps. It mostly relies on burst dps and healing. If you do not skill you're opponent with the sleep skill then you can run into some issues with killing you're opponent. But you have some pretty good sustain and some range which helps.

Yes it is viable in PVE content. Have done every T2 dungeon and haven't had an issue. Survivability no I don't have to many issues. As this build has good mobility and slow effects on opponents

I'm currently leveling up a SNS sadly I am running low on mats so its taking a bit longer to get the sns into a good state, I have some time left on hyper boost servers to get the sns a bit stronger. Imma have to do some testing to see what the most useful synergy is with this weapon combo :)

Is this an open world game and does it has dungeons? Can you swim, buy houses, farming, tame horses, fishing, and sailing on a ship too like in BDO?

Yeah this game has open world dungeons and private dungeons. Fishing is in the game the rest sadly are not. They have plans to add housing soon. You can swim but it's the normal way tbh.

haha staff/gs cover both range and melee someone jumping into you knowing your a range and surprise them with a stun in the face and bonk real hard lol

That's what I truly appreciate about this weapon combo. It allows you to engage effectively at all ranges. Also idk it just plays so well with each other.

Just make sure to either go evasion or endurance on the build. Getting as much hp as possible will help!

it's called a Battlemage :D any magician in war should be able to fight haha, i am going for staff/crossbow or staff/dagger for assassing mage :) Edit: Or crossbow/dagger lmao i have no clue what i will pick up
