This is a fan video of a possible cast for the Throne of Glass TV show. I'm considering only actors that have already done TV works
(or special participations) before.

For Celaena, we really need someone that can be notorious, bitchy, loving, beautiful, and more. Frankly, I don't think anyone could be Celaena, simply because the actress needs to be all these things and much more. Their acting would have to be superb.

Hi Hadassah Gray! Yes, all of Sarah's characters are very well-written, Celaena more than any. Of course that all of us, fans of the books, would love an awarded actress as Celaena, but I also believe that giving the opportunity to an upcoming actress can result on an amazing work, especially if the series has a good director. I'm happy that they're making a tv show because I think they'll be able to add more detail from the book series, but I can't believe they're starting with the fourth book. If they used flashbacks like the tv show Arrow, they'd be leaving out a lot of information not to mention the lack of romance until Rowan arrives which would make the audience who may have never read the Throne of Glass series more confused. I was actually hoping they'd start with the prequel: The Assassin's Blade. Anyway, here's my dream cast. I like your video very much. One can see that you really thought about your choices and were able to explain them to us. The only problem I have is that the ethnics are really important for this series. Nehemia needs to be black because that shows she is from Eyllwe and Chaol unfortunately needs to be white. The conflicts between countries and continents are essencially important in this book, which is the reason the descriptions have to be directly transferred. Another reason I like your video and way of thinking, many wouldn't insist on contact lenses. This shall not sound negative, I see all the other characters fit and I also love your choice of Nesryn. She is one of many aspects other dream cast video-makers left out.

Hey +JuMixBoox! I'm so happy you liked it! Yes, I tried to be as faithfull as possible from the book description, because I trully love Maas universe. About Chaol, I don't know exactly why but I picturede him black when I read the first book and on the second one, I realized he was not, so I put both choices on the video. As for Nehemia, she is described as having a copper colored skin, not a black one - I actually pictured her as someone like an egyptian, if compared to some ethnics from the real world. I wanted to cast someone like Dilshad (who is paquistanese) to be Nehemia, but I didn't found anyone. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I followed the link to this very interesting video. First of all, I like the way you edited the video in order to explain why you like that actor for a particular role. Some choices were astonishingly accurate (Ren, Arobbyn, Maeve, Sam...) and some I just didn't like (Chaol, Dorian, Aedion for example). But since it's all about the way we personally pirctue the characters, it doesn't matter and you did a great job! :)

I'm not very proud of my casting of Dorian and Chaol also (I loved your Dorian casting, Joshua Brand, but as I didn't found much information about him, I preferred not casting him), but as I did it considering the age and availability of each actor, my options were a little limited. I'm really impressed with all your research regarding schedules and everything, very dedicated! however (Just me being a huge megafan) i dont think that some of these will match up in my head as everyone is like, insanely beautiful (which is completely unrealistic, and I know that really famous actors probs wont want to be a part of a series starting out :'-( but I just think that some "otherworldly-Beauty" is missing...

Okay I've seen a lot of dream cast but this one was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE even though i do have a suggestion. I think Zach McGowan should be Rowan or be at least a character in tog he'd fit so perfectly. He has the voice of rowan, amazing acting skills, I won't list everything but he's downright amazing. Plus they'd have to make arobynn a little younger but other that that a absolutely PERFECT cast
