This was a really great video! It was just what I needed (now I know how to remove the darn seat! 😀). I need to change the air filter also, and other items, on my old Quadsport (that still runs great, despite negligence over the years) and you did a very clear job walking us through the process. you can put on an aftermarket air filter attached to the carb as long as it has a similar back pressure rating. most should work, just measure the inlet where the filter attaches to the carb and you can get an aftermarket filter to work 🫡

You should've just took some lineman pliers and cut a flat spot in the rubber.

How to remove seat

There's a lever on the back underneath the rear grab bar or a string. Depends on what year and model. Pull the lever back towards you or pull the string down and the seat will pop up. Then you pull it up and back towards the rear.

Where are the battery location on this squad

Rear, right behind the rear light. It's supposed to be in a holder that the light is attached to. Sometimes people relocate next to the rear tire, but that's not OEM
