My brother in flight, the two metal knobs in front of the throttles are for the throttle resistance. You can make it so light that the throttle doesn't stay upright. No reason to move your table when throttling up :D

Can't beat the STECS. I use it for all aircraft now and it's been a game changer. Such great quality.

fyi you can set up a separate button for the middle position of the gear switch in the vkbs config software

Dumb question: can you lower the friction all the way so that the throttle doesn’t move if you have it sit on the desktop? On my NXT EVO, the pads work great to keep the stick on the desk.

Yes, you can

Hi I am seeking help on setting switches and buttons in the Fenix A320 using the Stecks Throttle I have mapped a few but I'm completely stuck on how to start the engines using this throttle's buttons or switches there must be a way of doing it Please help needed

Did you use the Thrustmaster or another throttle previously? Check if any key or button is still assigned to engine start. If so remove.

I used a Thrustmaster in the past and all the key bindings have been removed I can get the engine switches to move but the won’t stay in the on position same with the ignition start/Crank switch it moves to start but won’t return to off very frustrating must be a work around can you try to map those buttons to your VKB Stecs throttle please

Hii, is it possible to set reverse engine using detent on throttle axis?
@yellscreen36978 ай бұрын
Hi. I haven't found a way to set this in general. Only for certain planes when you calibrate.

@@yellscreen3697 is it possible for pmdg?

I don't know of any throttle calibration option for the PMDG. Boeing works a little bit different in general. They don't have a part of the Throttle Axis as reversers, they have these additional levers. I found the STECS works really well on the ZIBO 737 (as I've shown). For the PMDG unfortunately not so much.
