1st time viewer to your channel. Last april I was gifted some indie ridge gloves , neck gator , and a limited edition hat. The hat was 1 of 6 or so. I was so impressed with the gloves and the other gear that I ordered a pair of the crow boots. Everything that I have from indie ridge is top quality. What you did not mention is that all indie ridge products have a lifetime guarantee once you register your products. I challenge anyone to find a better boot with a life time guarantee. I personaly called indie ridge to thank them and was shocked that the owner of the company answered the phone. indie ridge is the BEST and I am now a life time customer of thier products.

Man, I loved this review for so many reasons. My office always looks like the Texas chainsaw massacre of boots with hacksaws, box cutters and scalpels. All in the never ending pursuit of making the best, safest (look for our official CE 2 Cert coming soon), but still affordable boot on the market.

Agree this is a great video, and as a loyal subscriber, I appreciate that you always keep it real! 🤘 Also, @Steve L. - that's awesome news that a CE Level 2 is in the works! As soon as you bring them to market, I'm a buyer (that's the only thing that's kept me from buying Indie Ridge so far...love the look of your boots AND gloves, but I'm anal AF about CE certs). Much success to you and your team, man!

@@Steve_IndieRidge Thanks for taking the time to reply. Even better that they're Italian. I've got a pair of Stylmartin and TCX, which I think are made or designed in Italy (idk), and I love them both. My TCX are actually the boots that got me thinking about Indie Ridge. Similar style, but a little too "Sk8R Boi," if ya know what I mean lol. Seriously, I'm psyched for your CE cert and ready to buy (love The Crow)! IMO, the two best things in Blair's video are: 1). That he showed his own boots and acknowledged he hasn't done a damn thing to maintain them; and 2). Your email to him. Both show the honesty and integrity you both possess, and both are equally as rare in advertising. Kudos to you, Indie Ridge, and Blair! 🤘✌

When will you increase the mens size range for smaller feet? Would love to order a pair of Comanche, but not everyone has big feet.. would be nice to see EU sizes like a 40 which is about 7.5/8 Smallest Indie Ridge sizes seem to be size 9 most of the time.

@@impoppa9647 I'm working on it, I promise. Small end and the larger end. The Women's 10 is a Men's 8, it just didn't even cross my mind "hey dude, take half of those Women's 10, and swap the tag to Men's 8". Also, we re-made our press moulds for the outer soles. Before, we'd use one outer sole for two sizes, but I wanted each size to have it's own mould (they're like $3k each), so this summer we made I think 28 new press moulds to fit all sizes, including men's 7.5, 8, and Men's 15. It's comin' I promise!!

I bought a pair of these boots about a month ago, What caught my eye was the way the sole / traction part of boot was made, so many times when I come to a stop on smooth pavement or sandy surfaces, I would feel my feet would try to slip out from under me, cause of loss of traction as with other riding gear I have, I am impressed with the comfort and traction of these boots, so pleased to have bought a pair of them !! India Ridge will definitely be on my radar for future purchases ! Thankyou for a great pair of Riding boots !

I bought the Apache about a month ago. Normally wear 91/2. Went with size 10. Near perfect fit. Maybe a bit loose in heel, but just need to cinch down a little tighter. I honestly love these boots. Very comfortable on and off the bike. Wear them every day to and from work and all day at work. Honestly the most comfortable work boot I’ve ever owned. Highly recommend. Plan on buy a second pair (Comanche) soon, for weekend boots, since my work boots get pretty banged up at work.

@@throttleblip9854 One of the reason I love them is because they don’t have a heel. What I noticed when riding is that a heel would get stuck on the peg while shifting when wearing traditional motorcycle boots. Not a bad thing just a weird feeling. Indie Ridge doesn’t have that. I can slide my foot up when needed and help me shift. Too bad I didn’t know about the affiliate link.

The only complaint i hear about these, are the lack of a "non slip" sole. I have not compared them, to see really how far off that sole is from my other motorcycle boots, and riding shoes. With that said, i also WILL NOT be trying them because of that reason. The other brands offer more. Love the look though.
@Steve_IndieRidge
@Steve_IndieRidge Жыл бұрын
Ahh we've got new outer soles coming in soon. But you're right, earlier versions didn't have as much grip as I would've liked. That's why I created new press moulds for ever size in every style, and changed the rubber composite. The new Comanche V4 already has the upgraded rubber/outer sole. I don't require that you make a decision about keeping them or not within 10 seconds of opening the box (like certain companies). How are you supposed to know if they work for you if you can't ride around a little bit and use them? Hope you'll give them a try one day.

Great video. If someone is going to recommend a brand this is how you do it. It kinda feels like it’s a friend saying “hey, you should check these out.” People like to buy things but hate being sold. If that makes sense. If you know what so mean. When it comes to a boot this doesn’t look like anything I would expect. Having said that. I like the look/design and the colors. Like you said. It just looks like a regular pair of shoes (boots). Even the color of the sole looks great. To be honest. If this wasn’t a pair of boots and just a pair of shoes. I definitely would be picking me up a pair. I never heard of the brand and glad you mentioned it here.

It come down to a few things. Protection being the 1st. These have reinforced toes and heels so if you were to go down, your feet don't take so much punishment. 2nd for me is the option to have waterproof shoes on my feet. 3rd would be feel. I like the way the controls and pegs feel when i wear boots. At the end of the day if none of that matters you can ride in anything. Some of the best riders out there ride in Vans. The soles of the boot don't look like they will last for riding. A slick sole could cause me to drop my bike. I rather a defined heel.

I have a pair I've had for over a year and still going strong. If you're worried about dropping the bike then yeah definitely do all you can to prevent that. Some of the best riders I know wear Vans and they drift and wheelie their bikes lol.

@@throttleblip9854 I been riding for 23 years and never drop a bike! I just not sure about the sole of the boot. Always have had a defined heel. Good looking product and I might try a pair.

They look sick. However, Im on the fence w/ the names. I have friends who are A.I. (American Indian). It may or may not offend them, but it might offend other AI’s. These motorcycle boots look fresh though!

Although I liked your review, for a riding boot/shoe, if you want to show its condition after a while, present the left one. Me and another friend that saw this vid, both thought the same thing. Sadly, I got uhm, weird feet so don't really order shoes online, unless I've already tried something out.

I wore the same pair of #georgia logger boots for 15 years... and have worn out 2 sets of soles.... I'm not sure why you can't get a measly year out of yours...... except #consumerism and #disposablemindset

They're being tested for CE 2 in Italy right now. We can't officially make safety claims, but me personally, I wouldn't wear another boot on the bike. But I'm prob biased.

Try a pair of White's, Nick's, or JK's...there is no comparison to Indie Ridge...when talking quality about boots.

If you can't get a year worth of wear out of a boot then you are buying cheap boots. I have redwings, whites, and timberland boots that are 5 years old and older in my closet.
