... You _do_ realise that Planet Zebes from Smash 64 ... is literally a remix of Brinstar from Metroid? Or ... did you think that Smash 64 was where Metroid was from? Like... you didn't know that the characters in Smash 64 aren't actually _originally_ from Smash 64, and they're from pre-existing Nintendo franchises, such as Super Mario, Metroid, Earthbound, The Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, etc?

@@scmtuk3662 @BCMTUK i am aware . However, some of the soundbytes in this track sound very similar to those in the Smash 64 game and did not appear in any other game. The more I hear it, i also hear some hints to the Melee version of the track, with the timing of those notes matching the Melee song and, again, not present in other games.

@@RidleyPhantom Yeah, so it's essentially a full version of the song mixing the melody of the original with that of the Smash 64 version.

You are correct! I’ve always considered the Smash 64 version to be the best arrangement of this theme, so I definitely included many pieces from it, including a lot of less obvious things in the background like ostinatos. But I still tried to incorporate elements from the original piece and even the Melee arrangement.

You should Remix the SNES Brinstar red soil swampy area theme. A modern twist by you would dominate.
