@@furbymations1159 You're kinda right. He wasn't the president of Disney, rather he was the CCO of Disney's animation department. However he felt like he deserved to be president, but that job belonged to a man named Frank Wells, but Michael Eisner (the Disney CEO) said to Katzenberg "If Frank's not around you'll get the job." Then wouldn't you know it Frank Wells died in helicopter crash. And rather than wait a while for everyone to properly say their goodbyes Katzenberg immediately jump at Eisner for the president job. No seriously he asked him about the job immediately after Frank's funeral. And so the two started to drift after, and add on top of that that the animators kinda thought Katzenberg was going to hard as their hands were literally cramping from holding their pencils so much, and that Roy E. Disney, Walt Disney's nephew and the one who hired Katzenberg in the first place, didn't like Katzenberg because of his ego, and thus Katzenberg left Disney in late 1994.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. What is purpose of gaining the material. It means nothing. God may bless you with things but to give back everything you can and see god use it to save lives and teach. That's worth more than anything. Ask God what you can do. Pray about it. Seek guidance and search for him. Life may not be easy but as his word promises you won't go without what you need. Joseph job and paul are a few examples.

What I love about this song, is that it doesn't matter what religion you are, the message stands. When you find yourself in the service of others, your true worth as a human being builds in worth. Its not about you telling others how great you are. Its about others wanting to do it for you. Be the change. Be the beauty. Empower others and promote love. This song is everything.
@STCooper18 жыл бұрын
+paintmyheartout90 This Song is full of Biblical principles, and its Godly message is this- Through Heaven's Eyes "A single thread in a tapestry, though its color brightly shine, can never see its purpose in the pattern of the grand design. And the stone that sits up on the very top of the mountain's mighty face, does it think it's more important than the stones that forms the base?" These lines convey this- We may not always see our importance in God's grand plan, but if we do our roles Hes given us happily and as best we can with His help, we'll advance God's grand plan and cause for everything anyway. Likewise, none of our roles in God's grand plan are any greater or more important than any of our Brethren's(Ephesians 2:10), and also we are all equally important to God as His Children, and as the Body and Bride of Christ, and none of us matter to Him more than any other person alive, lost or saved.(John 3:16, Romans 5:8, Isaiah 1:18) "So how can you see what your life is worth, or where your value lies? You can never see through the eyes of man. You must look at your life, look at your life through Heaven's eyes. So how do you measure the worth of a man? In wealth, or strength, or size? In how much he gained, or how much he gave? The answer will come, the answer will come him who tries to look at his life through Heaven's eyes. So how do you judge what a man is worth, by what he builds or buys? You can never see with your eyes on Earth. Look through Heaven's eyes, look at your life. Look at your life. Look at your life through Heaven's eyes." These lines from different points of the song convey this- Nothing Man sees, thinks, or says about us and our worth means anything, only what God says and thinks does. And to Him every human being was worth so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us so that we could be redeemed of sin and born-again into His Family to dwell with Him in Eternity. So we need only look to God and His Word always to know our true value and worth, and that of anyone else.(John 3:3,5,16, Ephesians 1:3-6, 11) "A lake of gold in the desert sand is less than a cool fresh spring." This part of this line conveys this- Salvation, Christ all-filling Spiritual waters, and the joy, pleasure, and love of God we receive through accepting Jesus as our Savior and Lord and serving Him in this life far outmatch any riches and pleasure we can have in this world, as do the riches we store in Heaven that will last after the current Creation is destroyed.(John 4:13-14, Matthew 6:19-21, Luke 12:33-34, Romans 8:22 and 2 Peter 3:10-18) "and to one lost sheep, a shepherd boy is greater than the richest king. If a man loses everything he owns, has he truly lost his worth, or is it the beginning of a new and brighter birth?" The last part of the line, and these others convey this- We were once lost sheep, until found by Christ, our King and Shepherd, who is greater than any other. By accepting Christ and giving up our previous life, we may lose everything we own in serving Him in this life, but we've truly only gained better since Eternity and its rewards will be worth it when we reach Heaven. In light of this, accepting Christ is not truly losing anything at all, but rather a new and brighter birth, into the Family of God.(Philippians 2:8-10, Revelation 5:12, Luke 15:4, 1 Peter 2:25, Matthew 16:24-28) "And that's why we share all we have with you, though there's little to be found." This line conveys this- In being Christ's servants, we should be sure to share all we can to help those in need as we witness to them and try to bring them to Christ, as God will provide us with all we need in this life to do His Will, and never will forsake us.(Galatians 6:9-10, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, Luke 12:29-31, Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5) "When all you've got is nothing, there's a lot to go around." This line conveys this- Nobody, for lack of room in Him, is unable to get saved by accepting Christ since, with His perfect sacrifice, there's absolute room for all of humanity to get saved through faith in Him as their Savior and Lord, and as the Son of God who died for their sins and rose from the grave.(John 6:35-40, 1 Timothy 2:4, 1 John 4:15, 1 Corinthians 15:3, Romans 10:9) "No life can escape being blown about by the winds of change and chance, and though you'll never know all the steps, you must learn to join the dance. You must learn to join the dance" To finish the message, these lines conveys this- After we get saved, Satan and his followers will begin to throw all they can at us to make our life hard, but we must continue to serve Christ as best we can through prayer to and faith in Him, and do so in joy, knowing our faith is being tested, as we join our Brethren in the dance of life, wherein we honor God in everything. And anytime we feel down, we need only remember Heaven is worth anything we endure in this life and that God's eyes will watch over us until we are there.(2 Timothy 3:12, Matthew 10:22, 1 Peter 4:12-19, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, 1 Peter 1:6-7, James 1:2, 1 Corinthians 10:31, Psalms 121:8)

It doesn't matter if you're spiritual, religious, an atheist or anything from the list - this song is just really uplifting and motivating. The song promotes love and communication between people. I love the movie and did ever since I was a child, you don't have to justify yourself why you do. I grew up in an atheistic family, but that doesn't mean I can't respect religious people, and this movie and what the people who made it went trough fascinates me: "they conferred with roughly 600 religious experts and its the only Exodus-inspired movie to get approval from the leaders of all 3 major religions that share this story" (Quoted from an article that I cannot find right now).

This woke me up to how Christianity is meant to be. A way of living for each other. Not "I think I am right and therefore people should do my will because I am wise and prideful." Went from a raised christian to a satanist to a wiccan. The grass is never greener until you realize its all a lie. All a ruse by the forces of darkness to make you think its more complicated and concrete than it really is. God want's his praise which is why he made man, but God sent his son who was also part man to show us a leader who lead by example. Jesus is the way because he is the example. Living live as a humble servant of others, never growing prideful, and always willing to help and seek out those in need of help. There were people who did good things in the religions I swore myself into, but none of them are lasting because they are an institution, and median of control. Christianity has been warped by the evil in this world and it's selfishness to push people away from it, and to divide believers. Live your life not thinking you know better than your peers, and do not live it trying to push them into believing it. Lead by example. Be a friend, a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand, a ear, a mouth to speak good things to those afflicted by negative things. Follow the example we have been given, and you will see things in your life start to change for the better, and the world around you as well. The world of man is a world built on the self, but the world of god is a world built around the selfless. The indulgence of the self cannot last nor should it for this is why many of the problems in our world persist so constantly. Be humble, be selfless, and seek out those in need. There are so many. Even I am somewhat broken lol, but I love to help others. When you do, you will see things about people change, and good things will start to come to them as well as you. Rejoice because this means you have done well, but also prepare for the storms that life will send back at you again. If you are the man with a house on a rock, and see others drowning in the storm, offer them a place in your house, and help to aid them.

I never noticed this till now, but at 1:40, the song starts referencing some Bible stories. "To one lost sheep" is a reference to The Parable of the Lost Sheep and "If a man looses everything he owns" is a reference to the story of Job.

(lyrics) Jethro:A single thread in a tapestry Though it’s color brightly shine Can never see its purpose In the pattern of the grand design And the stone that sits on the very top Of the mountain’s mighty face Than the stones that forms the base? So how can you see what your life is worth Or where your value lies? You can never see through the eyes of man You must look at your life Look at your life through Heaven’s eyes Choir:Ai-lai-lai Lai-le-lai-lai Ai-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai Lai-le-lai-lai Lai-le-lai-lai Ai-lai-lai Lai-le-lai-lai Ai-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai Lai-le-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai Jethro and choir:Lai-le-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai Lai-le-lai-lai Jethro:A lake of gold in the desert sand Is less than a cool fresh spring And to one lost sheep a shepherd boy Is greater than richest king If a man lose everything he owns Has he truly lost his worth? Or is it the beginning Of a new and brighter birth? So how do you measure the worth of a man? In wealth or strength or size? In how much he gained or how much he gave? The answer will come The answer will come to him who tries To look at His life through Heaven’s eyes And that’s why we share all we have with you Though there’s little to be found When all you’ve got is nothing There’s a lot to go around No life can escape being blown about By the winds of change and chance And though you never know all the steps You must learn to join the dance You must learn to join the dance Jethro and choir:Ai-lai-lai Lai-le-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai-lai-lai Lai-le-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai Lai-le-lai-lai Lai-lai-lai-lai Jethro:So how do you judge what a man is worth? By what he builds or buys? Jethro and choir:You can never see with your eyes on Earth Look through Heaven’s eyes Look at your life, look at your life Look at your life through Heaven’s eyes

This is yet another one of my top favorite songs from this outstanding movie, the lyrics fill me with such joy that I can never help but try to see my life the way God sees it. This song also reminds me so much of my mom and how much she too loved to sing along to this song and all other songs from this film every time she heard them, thanks to her I gladly do the same thing and so does my sister. It's my dream to help others to turn to God so they too can see their lives through eyes of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and I will make my mom proud by making that dream come true with God leading me and my family along the way. Try to look at your life through Heaven's eyes and not through the eyes of men, I do every single day!😉😉😉❤❤❤😀😀😀💖💖💖😃😃😃💗💗💗😄😄😄

You know, there's something to be said for how this story was presented. There is honor in humility, and no shame in choosing a life of hard work over luxery. I think somewhere in our modern age, we've lost that knowledge. (I say while sitting behind a computer screen) No matter your faith, world view, ect. I think that's an important lesson. This is one of those movies I would share with my kids without hesitation, despite the fact that it's an animated story from the bible.

This might be cringey to share, but I needed to hear this song. I haven't heard it in years. It's been well over 10 years and it randomly came to mind and I decided to searched for it. I've been so caught up in my issues of self worth, and spending thousands of dollars on clothing and accessories trying to help myself feel better. None of it has worked, the dopamine is short and temporary. It doesn't matter how much money I spend, or how many likes or attention I would get on my social media. I always feel worthless. Hearing this song, although it hasn't magically fixed my issues, it has bought some comfort and relief. A new perspective to remember when moving forward. I'm glad I decided to listen to this again, I'll be adding it to my Disney playlist.
