"What u thought an ending would be a beginning of something more beautiful " the line that speaks the movie it self while they’re both watching sunset. Kudos to Alessandra de Rossi and Paolo Cuntis they're such a great actors and delivered it well, I hardly cry. The location "Iceland" fit the story exactly right. They both had unique and unforgettable trips there, but perhaps one's love isn't sufficient to sustain a relationship. During their journey to Iceland, which is Jen's favorite destination, the couple splits up. The film "through night and day" demonstrates just how cruel love can be. It teaches us more lessons that we can apply to our own lives, such as the fact that in relationships, we don't just accept what we are given and shouldn't give up when we are tired. It also teaches us to be more patient with our partners by showing them the love we feel for them and by making more memories with them. lastly, this movie really instills in us the ability to find happiness on our own because it's possible for someone to love you deeply today but still leave you at any time. “ OUR GREATEST LOVE COULD BE OUR GREATEST LESSON”.

Sobrang ganda ng story kahit na hindi happy ending. 😭♥️ Sometimes, nangyayari talaga in real life na may tao tayong mamahalin ng higit pa sa sarili natin, yung tipong gagawin at ibibigay natin ang lahat para lang maging maligaya ang taong mahal natin pero hindi naman natin makakatuluyan & kahit na nasa piling na sila ng iba kailanman ay hindi nawala yung pagmamahal na 'yon kundi nakatago na lang sa kaibuturan ng puso natin. Ika nga nila... pinagtagpo pero hindi tinadhana. Pero kahit hindi sila nakalaan para sa atin, na kahit masakit at mahirap na makita na may mahal na silang iba ay dapat pa rin talagang maging masaya tayo para sa kanila, kaya kung saan sila masaya suportahan pa rin natin even if it means that we're not part of their happiness dahil minsan naging bahagi sila ng ating buhay.

Through Night and Day for me is still the best romantic film of its decade. I love how they didn't just shoot the film abroad and use it as a gimmick (like other filipino romfilms do). They incorporated every film location to their love story reallyyy well. The cold feeling of bagiuo, the beauty and secludedness of Iceland. Like, they could've shot these in any other country and the film wouldn't feel the same (that's when you know it's well-written). Also, this scene 30:15 is so powerful that it tells you the message of the whole movie (i cried in this scene more than i did in the ending tbh😂). This scene alone proves that you don't need a scene flooded with tears, loud conversations and overly dramatic gestures to prove a point or to make the audience care about the characters (at least not all the time). This scene proves that there is power in soft voices, calmness, decent framing and composition, gentle music and proper use of metaphors. This proves that there's power in subtlety! So shoutout to you who's still deeply in love with this film!

This story is very true not only for the couple. Me and my best friend for years went cruising for 7 days and shared same cabin we end up fighting in our cruise . And we didn't talk much since that moment. I'm like Paulo and she was like Jen. I agree ..we will not know the real person if you don't live together even for a few days.! I was intrigued so I searched and watched the movie. 3 lang ang main characters pero amazing actors specially Paolo and Alex. It's been 2yrs bibe, Masakit padin lahat sakin parang kahapon lang lahat ng nangyare. Pero dahil mahal na mahal kita kagaya ng movie na to kahit masakit makita lang kitang masaya okay nako. Hanggang sa huli ikaw padin ang inisip ko kung saan ka magiging masaya. Mahal na mahal kita hanggang sa huli 🥺 Walang nagbago, Miss na miss na kita 😭 Hindi man ikaw yung lalaking pakakasalan ko ngayon pero IKAW LANG ANG NAG IISANG LALAKING MINAHAL KO NG GANTO 🥰 Mahal na mahal kita, Masaya ako para sayo kahit hindi na ako ang dahilan! Kita ko kung gaano ka kasaya ngayon❤️

Wow the movie is so amazing.. so touching and it makes me so emotional kase iniwan din ako ng love of my life at napunta sa iba.. wow this is the best movie ever na pinanood ko alex and paulo the best of all the best ..sobrang nakaka iyak ng very realistic ang acting..halos hindi ako makahinga sa sakit hahaga but it simply beautiful Good job to both of you..sa mga nakaka relate...ng love story nila... The lesson ive learned is learn to accept the reality of love ..if love is never meant for each other...learn to be happy for the other side and most above all Learn to Forgive ..and and love again

This is the only filipino movie na nagustuhan ko ang kwento at halos 50times kong pinanuod and i asure if gusto kong magsenty babalik balikan kong panuorin toh. Naiiyak pa din ako...my gosh!
