In John 12:41 it says, "Isaiah said this because He saw Jesus' glory." Look at Isaiah 6 where he claims, In the year king Uzziah died I saw the Lord and His train filled the temple." He actually saw Jesus, the only way to see God. Thank for this awesome teaching Brett.

What cheapens God’s Grace more- keeping in mind that grace is getting something that we don’t deserve… believing in faith that God is big enough to die for our sins, proclaiming “it is finished” Or thinking that we can be good enough to do things to add to what He has already done? Seems to me that “look at what I’m doing” is a whole lot cheaper than s saying “look what Jesus has done!”

I really like a quote from the late R.C. Sproul- “Our problem is that we don’t realize who God is, and we don’t realize who we are.” Because of this confusion we have difficulty truly recognizing Who is doing the saving and what it means to be saved.
