Kassia Meador has been with us here at RAEN since day one. We caught up with Kassia to enjoy some swell at the iconic point break she grew up riding in Malibu, and she shared some of her wisdom on surfing, entrepreneurship, and life.

hi every one i surfed with kassia this morning at HB cliffs she is amazing human. my name is Joseph her Dad is from downey and went to high school with my wife so much surf history from that region im from the next town over santa fe springs went to high school with Dane reynolds Dad Tom at santa fe high school today was beyond amazing to share waves with kassy what a primo morning she gave me a bar of her new wax its on my mantel at home i was very humbled today keep surfing ALOHA . In these grumpy times it's easy to dismiss that sunny west coast optimism as a cliche' until you see and experience it for real, embodied in the likes of Kassia. Ooh yah ! 🤙

A lot of groups are historically solidified around a common enemy, from evil spirts on up to the governance of society, the old," us against them" always draws a crowd. Nice to hear a report of folks joining in mutual support out of positivity Of course , harmony with nature is needed with the ocean, which makes anger and fear worthless. Mark that I said fear, and not caution.

While resonating on the topic of creation and and continuous evolution with the ever vibrant Kassia tuning in to it all. This day at bu was one of mr Howard's last CI Log test sessions (stringer, glass sched? seemed the outline, foil and bottom were set).

Kassia is a California surfer to the core. To me she is the unofficial spokesman for, yes, surfing but board sports in general.
