The part that should most intrigue... Is knowing "da BU" why would you not bring your own KinEGrines (grubs) + h20 so your not loosing time on the road and focus an all day at the beach.../they bought the boards --fuel for your machine (is always first mention) The most unmentioned-underrated is conditioning. The right of passage is not the wave, but the constant vigilance of preparedness .

Malibu/Ventura local growing up. Haven’t surfed Malibu point in 10+ years cause of the crowd/vibe factor. Last time I went out was at 1am on a full moon with my dad. Had the place to ourselves. I’ll leave it at that! Glad you got some good ones!

You used the term "burning" and "snake" wrong. Burning someone is what that guy did to Koa @ 6:45 - it's the same thing as dropping on someone. Snaking someone is paddling behind someone who had priority to get closer to the peak in order to then gain priority over them.

so, you know how the best waves in Hawaii are all about respect, the line-up and a pecking order? That's because you can easily die on those waves and the old Black shorts would enforce the rules. Here in California, other than a rare few times and places, the waves are generally fun, so the lineup is more laid back. The exact reason why Malibu is the ultimate party wave spot is because there's not a single property in Malibu for under a FEW MILLION dollars. It's lifestyles of the rich and famous there and we all know the rich and famous do whatever the hell they want, they take the wave. There's no such thing as snaking or dropping in on someone at Malibu....these are the expectations you need to have before you paddle out.
