That was amazing Véro ! You're really talented. The filming is great and the stories too. I lived 20+ years in Paris and I still learned new things! Bravo !

Merci Veronique! I just got home yesterday from France and can’t wait to go back. I loved this video because although we visited this area, you named some of the buildings we saw but didn’t have names for a couple of weeks ago.

Bonjour from Minnesota! Boul' Mich'! Love it! I very much enjoyed the section of Paris and look forward to seeing it again. The Wallace fountain is so lovely. I didn't know what they were called or that the water is potable. 😊St. Michael defend us!

I spent many a lunch at the St. Michel fountain with a delicious jambon/beurre baguette sandwich! Best memories ever!

I really enjoyed watching this today, while I enjoyed an autumn October morning here in St Louis MO USA. Though I am very familiar with Paris, Véro ALWAYS enlightens me in her Paris videos… I see things with new eyes and learn more historic tidbits … it never fails. Un grand merci for posting this today, Véro! (Judith C from La Bande de Véro)

Excellent, as always. I continue to learn so much from you, Véro. France is my adopted home, and the richness of its history and culture never gets old. I live in a small Mediterranean coastal city and agree with you about the loud obnoxious tour guides and their bullhorns; these should be illegal.

Glad we agree on this. They drive me crazy when I walk by with my tour groups who are discreetly listening to me on their "whisper systems" A bientôt.

Vero: EXCELLENT!!! Cannot tell you how happy I am to be one of your patrons!!!! it is SO WORTH IT for anyone who loves Paris! I must complement you on choosing this iconic microcosm of Paris, starting with the Latin Quarter and going to the Isle de la Cite and then across the bridge. I felt like I was there with so many wonderful memories....loved your explanation about the tin cups on the Wallace Fountains that I had never known before. Loved your pace and how careful you record the sights so people can read the signs and see the details of that wonderful architecture and the Haussmannian buildings! There is so much of Paris within this short tour, but OH SO wonderful! Loved seeing the bird and flower market and reminding me of my first trip to Paris so many decades ago.... Loved the blue benches and lampposts too! WELL DONE Vero!!!! You could SELL this tour and content!!!

Bonjour Jeanie. Thank you for this wonderful comment and continued support! So happy you found so much value in this short tour I more or less improvised because of the fickle weather a few days ago! I happen to believe there's a lot of valuable, FREE content on this channel and I am glad you agree. :-) A bientôt

Vero, I am working on planning a trip to France with my two sisters. We have not decided exactly when to come. We were all born in France. Our mother was born and raised in Strasburg and lived in Mosel during the war. Our mother married our Dad when he was in the Air Force. Anyway, we have never returned since we left as children. Our mother is now 88. She will not be going with us. I would like us to stay 3 - 4 weeks. Would you happen to know of a home we could rent for one month. I have found a lady named Catherine that has a VRBO in her home. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
