Buckethead seems to be going through what I am this past year. More intentional solitude and going inward with quiet reflections and thoughts. 🎶🎸😌

Track 3 is beautiful. I think it gets lost how great some of his calm songs lately have been, because there has been so much and because I feel a lot of his fans are mainly into shredding or at least riff-based Pikes.

I’ve been loving his latest calm pikes, almost exclusively now. I occasionally get the urge for something heavy still. And I agree, track 3 is the gem 🎶🎸😌

@@sunnymoon369 I've been revisiting some of 2023's calm efforts (and there were a LOT), and many of them do reward repeat listens. Some duds, of course, but I think many are dismissed within a couple of minutes when people realise there won't be any solo guitar on this one. When you're in a place for something calm (and I have been lately), there are a lot of great Pikes there. And of the more recent ones, Sideways 1 (623), Feeling the Sadness of What Holds One Back (604), 600, 605 are all really lovely tracks.

@@VenLon Those were all great ones. I’m not always in the mood for heavy songs and I’m sure Buckethead goes thru periods where he’s not in the mood to create heavy music. He stated that in his 2017 interview. Maybe he’s having more health problems (hopefully not) and it’s healthier for him to concentrate on mellow songs 😌🎸🎶

I'm very grateful that this time traveler decided to stay with us and ease our burdens with his music. His melodies never fail to do it. With much gratitude.

I've been here since Pike 50! Wish Buckethead had for sale a 4k Blu-ray of each pike in the making.
