This was absolutely phenomenal. **You should be writing pamphlets of what to see, for visitors, to an area. NOBODY does it better than you do, wherever you go. EXCELLENT, Josh... The whole family really appeared to enjoy it.🏡🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Your videos always make me smile and sometimes even cry! Just because it seems like such a warm, loving committed family that you guys have. Sunny looks a lot like Amy! Thanks for the great photography, phenomenal narrative and warm fuzzies all around! I love Josh, Pops, Sunny, Amy and the rest of your family. Truly glad to hear there's at least one person who has NOT watched The Exorcist! 🙌🏼 Great video.❤️

We were there at the same time that you were. We had a wonderful time and had some great tours of Congress and the White House with a school group. We had to leave before the kite festival started. You showed us places that we will have to see on our next trip. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.

What a great trip to DC. I can’t believe how big your kids are getting Sunny looks more and more like Amy everyday. DC is a great place to take families cuz there is so much to see and do. And the metro is really a great way to get around. But it’s a lot of walking. They will likely enjoy it even more as they get older. Best cupcake I’ve ever had was in Los olivos at a wine tasting place near the end of grand avenue. But you have to go early enough cuz they sell out very quickly. Not sure if it’s kid friendly cuz the cupcakes have a wine flavored center. But oh my! Beyond good. I’ve been to DC several times but I’ve never been to the national zoo. You have to pick and choose your places to go cuz there is so much to do there. I’ve never been during spring. Thanks for posting your trip there.

So glad you got there when you did because all it takes is for a storm to blow all the blossoms away! Which was your favorite memorial? I love them all, but partial to the Roosevelt... Did you know about the gap between trees at the White House? My first year, I did the ranger tour walking around the entire basin. He shared, I don't remember which president, felt every president should wake to see the Jefferson Memorial and the view has remained ever since. I didn't spend much time in Georgetown outside of the canal and Baked & Wired (hands down the best). I didn't even know about the old stone house or steps! (You can go the rest of your life not seeing the exorcist movie). The kite festival was one of my favorite events my 27 years in Metro DC area! The kids are growing so fast!

Great video. My family would make annual visits to Washington DC. Lots to do and see. We would stay at the Harrington hotel which just recently closed for good. I would park the car and not see it till we left. Our latest trip to Washington DC was by train. Another place we enjoyed was in Alexandria VA where we ate in a tavern that served George Washington and many others. Also a torpedo factory was turned into an artist studios. We've always enjoyed Washington DC. Thank you for sharing. It's one of the best tourist destinations .

This came at the perfect time…my family and I are going to DC next month. Good to know about the Air and Space Museum as that was gonna be one of our stops. And we may have to have a cupcake war ourselves! 😂 Obviously the cherry blossoms won’t be in bloom but we’ll make it there one year during that time. 😁 This will be our first time going with the kids so I’m glad I got to see your kids having fun there. Great video, as always!

The Exorcist was the scariest movie of all time in its day! I was in grade school (raised catholic) and they showed a trailer to it before the G rated original Endless Summer movie. the trailer gave me nightmares. Ask your Dad about that movie!! Enjoyed the DC video!

I am thankful for the works of all loyal americans this week in Washington. I am talking about the federal workers ensuring citizens that DT will continue to be punished to the full extent of the law, and that biased judges will be removed from his case and from all cases in America, to the best conscience of the depart of justice. It is wise of our President, Joe Biden not to meddle in the outcomes of already decided court cases, it is wise that he be reticent to use executive power for such specialized means because that is a power that should only be used most sparingly in the rarest of situations, it is a power that is also itself under the checks and balances of the U.S. constitutional premise. It is because Joe Biden doesn't pedal to the medal on the highest rarest usage of executive power (distinguished from every day on the job usage of regulsr executive powers that every american president must exercise) that american justice is able to happen organicslly through the expressed law, will of the people, and congress (made selfless and egoless to reflect their regions honestly not putting a thumb on scales with personal bias) to supreme court feedback loop. It is preserving the code of our nation that its great matters continue to be 'digested' by its legislative branchs in this way, not increasingly usurped and decided wholly by the president through executive overulling, that is as intended by our Nation's founders only a rare outcome to be used when the other branches cannot make a decision after many tries and ties. I am thankful that Americans are entertaining the trend of relearnig the checks and balances concept and refreshing themselves on the branches of congress and function of america's great government. It is the passion of american heart that allows our elected representatives to do their work every day and it is the fruit of much urging by the people that they are still increasing protection and investment in a beautiful planet and healthy eco system, better use of resources and more eco friendly fuels such as cannabis hemp based peanut and soy fuels
