Kang Hyewon, who did the "rap" part in Violeta, not only is acting and modeling, she also released a solo album and a duet single with Stella Jang. And she also has a really good you tube channel.

One of my ult groups! -solo debut members are Yena, Eunbi, Chaeyeon, and Yuri -group members are Chaewon, Sakura, Wonyoung, Yujin, and Hitomi who returned to her original group in Japan -the girl dancing in front of the white background was Yujin, who is now the leader of IVE along with Wonyoung. She’s not the main dancer, that would be Chaeyeon who had a similar shot in Secret Story of the Swan. -Hyewon, Minju, and Nako are now acting and modeling -Reality shows to form groups are quite common these days! I.O.I, Wanna One, X1, Kep1er, ZB1, fromis_9, EL7Z UP, etc. all came from these shows. The reason their contracts are short is because the members all come from various agencies. The agencies usually want the members to come back to the company so they can debut in permanent groups and capitalize on their success. That’s what happened to IZ*ONE. The members wanted to extend their contracts but 2 or 3 of the girls labels said no. fromis_9 is a special case because the members were unsigned when they did the show. Sometimes companies will have their own internal survival reality show and we get groups like TWICE, Momoland, Enhyphen, etc.

So you know that Sakura & Chaewon are in Le Sserafim. We have Yu Jin and Won Young in IVE now, the soloists Eunbi, Yena, Chaeyeon and Yuri. Hyewon and Minju are now actresses, Hitomi is back in her original group (AKB48) in Japan while Nako is now an actress after graduating from her original group (HKT48 - same group that Sakura was in) Eunbi and Yuri recently made their comeback in August, and it was announced today that Chaeyeon will make her comeback in September. Fun fact: Yuri is only promoting for 2 weeks for her comeback as she will be diving straight into the filming of Squid Game 2 immediately right after, yes the famous netflix squid game!

@@roguereacts Yea,It was quite a big news when she was announced as one of the main cast as the audition was known to be grueling due to it's success. This isn't her first acting gig though, she did a webdrama and cameo-ed in another, and it's quite well known that she has very decent acting skills. Also another fun fact since you mentioned Chaewon being your bias: Chaewon, Yena and Yuri are known as the Jo Yuriz trio that started as a joke amongst them and fans, and later on became a real unit with them singing Yuri's first composition (Someday) in IZ*ONE's first full album. Jo Yuriz - because reporters were always confusing the three of them for each other, and it's mostly when Yuri is between Chaewon & Yena

the dancer u pointed out is Lee Chaeyeon, she was actually a trainee of JYP and participated in sixteen...the show tht formed TWICE along with her younger sister chaeryeong who is now a member of ITZY. Rumors r tht chaeyeon left JYP cus of the rule of not debuting sisters together....so she left to give a chance to her sister....now she is a part of WM ent..which is now under RBW...home to MAMAMOO. Chaeyeon has released 2 solo albums as of now...her latest release Knock has been a huge hit in SOUTH KOREA and internationally. Chaeyeon is known as "feather chaeyeon" cus of her incredible dancing skills and her effortless execution. She is named as one of best kpop dancers by many professionals. She also participated in the dancing survival show Street women fighter with the crew WANT.

Im so proud of what the members are doing and achieving these days as a wiz*one. My favorite title track from them is definitely "Panorama"(I'll be waiting). IZ*ONE's vocal line was crazy. Yuri(main vocal), Chaeyeon(main dancer, did the dance break in SSOTS), Eunbi (the leader) and Yena are the sololists! Nako and Hitomi wemt back to Japan are pursuing music and acting. Minju and Hyewon are also actresses now. fun fact : Yuri is also an actress and she recently got casted for squid game 2.

btw for the “why red? rose is pink!” i was so confused for so long but i think i figured it out they pronounce “la vie en” the way it sounds in french and then pronounce “rose” in english referring to roses which are red they aren’t talking about wanting to see life in pink/color, but to see life in roses

I was never into izone unfortunately and i regret that now cause after ive yena and le sserafim i dove into them and i was like ok but why i didn't do that sooner..but the truth is that secret story of the swan is the only song that i really like so i am happy that they disbanded and we have what we have now.. yena is one of my favourite solo artist in kpop i love her personality so much and she is so talented as all of them as well and they are killing it now in the groups that are in or as a solo

Trying to put all my thoughts in 1 comment: The reality show world is super interesting Yunjin from lesserafim was also in produce 48 Soyeon from (G)I-DLE was on produce 101 Chaeyeon from izone was in sixteen, the reality show that formed twice, together with her sister chaeryeong from Itzy Some purple kiss members were on produce 48 too There were way more that are now in famous groups, too many to list😅 Izone was super loved and both the public and the members fought for contact extension, but sadly a certain company was too greedy🥲 if you ever want a good cry, watch their goodbye speeches on their last online concert For solos: yes most of the Korean members who didn't join lesserafim/IVE went solo! The Japanese members went back to their japanese groups (some have graduated from them I think?) Fun fact: la vie on rose was actually meant for CLC but cube sold the song Their dance practices are great! They are one of the most synchronized groups in kpop They were a national treasure, we were lucky to get some more time, the previous season of produce had a really short contract (the group ioi with somi and chungha) so I'm grateful for what we got, but damn I miss them🥲

okay to answer your thoughts here lol I actively follow LE SSERAFIM more so than I do IVE, so my knowledge around IVE is very limited (which is why it seems like I completely forgot because I probably did). 🥰 I think the only MV I haven't seen from LE SSERAFIM is 'Eve, Psyche, & the bluebeard's wife' (hope to get to it soon though). So I'm not sure about doing any type of rewatch of those.
