It is interesting that you did not react to the debut singles of 1/3 and OEC: Love and Live, and Girl Front. You missed seeing a whole bunch of lore, including Android Vivi. Both MVs you chose were from the repackaged albums. Nothing wrong with Sonatine but Love and Live is just so iconic. Fun fact. Vivi actually debuted on Love and Live after the BBC promotion choose three and “?” for the fourth. But most Orbits think it was always going to be Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, and the new girl, which turned out to be Vivi. Yeojin really wasn’t in the running. So that also means Vivi debuted before her solo. However, no one is going to fault you for choosing SCL, as that song is a banger. Max and Match is one of the best things Loona ever did.

19:51 i LOVE yyxy it's my favorite subunit lore-wise, and i love explaining it bc most of their lore is in the mv, well first we start by stablishing that yyxy is full of biblical references - yves / representative fruit apple = eve who ate the apple in the garden of eden - gowon's lyric in one and only = "don't need no garden of eden" (warning again everything in the loonaverse is open to interpretation, and also warning a lot of confusing theory) so the commonly accepted theory of the mv is that all the yyxy live in a world called eden, world from which they cannot escape and in which they are in constant surveillance of the blonde lady (whom many have theorized is a representation of god) yves as the one who first bit the apple started escaping periodically from eden, this is why in one point in the mv the blond lady inspects some dirty socks, because in order to not damage or dirty her shoes and as to not raise suspicions she took them off, then she began convincing the other girls to leave with her, first chuu the easiest to convince given that chuu loves/idolizes (depends on how you view the heart attack mv) so chuu gets easily convinced and eats her forbidden fruit, the strawberry, then the both of them take on the mission of convincing gowon (the one and only mv) and lastly olivia hye- yves does not convince olivia hye to escape in fact the whole m/v suggest that they outcast her some theorize it may be because eating the forbidden fruit means loving one self, thing that olivia hye did not previous to egoist (egoist its theorized to happen after the yyxy m/v) others theorize yves left her behind bc of her disdain to the place they were trapped in and the blonde lady or god, and as shown in the mv olivia hye is somewhat the favorite of this woman, anyways yves, chuu and gowon make their plan and LEAVE eden, but also leave olivia hye behind, yves and chuu don't pay a second thought to it but gowon does seem to have second thoughts on leaving olivia behind, but she still leaves. Now from here on out....olivia is angry at yves specifically, and who wouldn't? yves organized everyone she knew and left her behind in that awful place, so olivia hye eats the blood plum and leaves shortly after the other girls do, now........i might be getting ahead of myself but just so you keep an eye to it, the debate on who is the villian of the loonaverse is a never ending one there are a toon of possibilities is it olivia hye who is angry at yyxy for leaving her behind? is it jinsoul who put the cherry in choerry's cake making her leave her normal life on earth for a life on the middle earth with odd eye circle, and also who was whispering things to olivia hye in the egoist mv? is it yves who could be interpreted as that she manipulated chuu and gowon to make them leave eden and olivia behind? is it kimlip ? ( i actually don't know why people think that i dont remember that theory right now) anyway just keep an eye on the last part

Sonatine is such a pretty song with an unusual instrumental. I love it 😍 Damn, Sweet Crazy Love is good but I personally prefer Girl Front from OEC's predebut songs. It one of my favourite songs ever. It's permanently on repeat in my head 😂 it's so so catchy. OEC also have sooo many good b sides (especially in their most recent album) Love4eva isn't really my thing, but I like couple of yyxy's b sides So we've had the before, we'll get the during, but will you be reacting to any of the stuff from *after* they've left their label? Like Odd Eye Circle's recent comeback, Loossemble's debut, Chuu's *just* released solo stuff or Heejin's upcoming solo? You absolutely do not have to because I know it's a lot 😂. If you reacted to everything everyone suggested you might as well do a deep dive 😂 (plus you are already diving deeper than in most throwbacks) But I'm just curious since the journey through Loona's career looks so different to most kpop groups

Hmmm I love the choices but the MVs you watched for LOONA 1/3 and OEC weren’t for the title tracks of the sub units. “Love and Live” and “Girl Front” are definitely worth watching for more lore and stellar music.

I know many people are recommending Avengers of K-Pop. I do not recommend it because there is a lot of misinformation and the guide is pretty old. For lore and background of the group I would watch Loominosity's videos. It's well researched and by a big fan. In my opinion, I don't think there is a good guide that encapsulates the girl’s talents and personality. I think fan videos and covers from the girls is the best bet. But on a more positive note bc I hope I didn't sound negative during this first part. I love all your reactions and it's my treat during my work lunch breaks ❤!

sonatine is beautiful gorgeous but i love Love&Live sooo much its one of my all time favorite titles and mvs~ i hope you watch it sometime even if its not a reaction! same with girl front! videos that get permanently tattooed in your brain at first watch~ ("kim lip! yes? no?") it is her! you are correct! lippy~ the scl mv closes exactly where eclipse begins! (youre correct that it came after, about half a year later actually. the "timeline" of the "story" is neither linear nor presented in "order", youd have to attempt organising it in your head with hindsight after you get all the information from mvs if thats what you want) the world only gaining color when the girls' paths cross is so cute to me miss claire grimes is the voice "introducing.... loonaaaaaa!" and i think she did something production wise? little fun fact about this era is that afterwards grimes decided to claim gowon is her child's godmother or whatever. insane era to witness real-time i think that random hungarian(?) castle theyre in is supposed to be "eden" that they escape/free themselves from. i dont think they would be "dead" thought i dont know how to explain what i mean. i dont think theyre supposed to be beings that are able to die? im also not someone who ever subscribed to the theory that theyre the same person, i always thought that would be really mean to them as real people if true. thought i do think they represent different facets of human beings. idk. weirdly sad mv, right? princess gowon hesitating to leave hyeju behind and hyeju following them but being too late and getting lost in the dark always gets to me watching the behind clips(the lil loonatv oh how i miss her so much) its so cute, yyxy interacting with the actress playing the "teacher", and them gushing over each others visuals and learning how to lipsync for videos, its cute~ another fun fact is that theres different versions of that trippy dancebreak! i believe it was three versions? im sure someone else would know better and would be able to tell you three specific performances to show that off. i dont have the brain for that tho. yves is such a little lesbian catcher. catches every wlw. i believe she is(was?) always on that list of idols favorited by lesbians (like irene from red velvet)(thought i havent seen that in a while. maybe things are different now). i just enjoy thinking about that as for unit bsides.... the 1/3 bside "*you and me together*" and the oec bside "*loonatic*" both have special MVs (loonatic being in english, as a gift for the intl fans. its technically a lyric video too) that are made out of outtakes and extra footage from the title tracks mvs. besides being great songs, the videos are just really fun to see~ yyxy didnt get one of those since things were so out of schedule. there were only three months between love4eva and debut. i've heard the bside "*rendezvous 18.6y*" was supposed to be the yyxy comeback. i'd pick that one for them either way ^^ other unit bsides i'd like to throw your way...: "rain51db"(1/3) is one of my favorites of all time. it has a mv that is also essentially a lyric video; "valentine girl"(1/3); "odd front"(oec) would be a funny choice since you didnt watch girl front; "frozen"(yyxy). ♡

9:10 its ironic that even though sonatine's mv doesnt have lore in the mv per se it has one of the most detailed descriptions........btw the loona songs descriptions have lore on them, bt yeah interms of mv sonatien doesnt have that much of a story shown.......love & live is kind of more like the main story of loona 1/3

OMG next video is Loona ot12, about the bsides for the subunits: odd eye circle I definitely recommend "Chaotic", with YYXY it could be "Rendezvous18.6y" or "Frozen" I would recommend the last one and finally with 1/3 "You and Me Together" or my favorite "Valentine girl"
