I’m lying here and this video surfaced with an MJB performance in full bloom at No More. As she is testifying thru that mic that she just wants a piece of mind, my tears begin to flow. I’m so tired ppl. I’ve survived a stroke at 31, open-heart surgery followed that, a cancer diagnosis 6 years afterwards that had a 3yrbattle. All the while up til the cancer, I kept working, drained my life savings twice now…then just as I thought I was about to “live again” here comes a diagnosis of systemic lupus. I won’t lie: I looked towards heaven and asked”…can a n**ga catch a BREAK!!!…”. Im down again y’all. Each time satan came for me, He hid the key and I was able to get back up and keep it moving. But this time….i dont know. Cancer was a cake walk compared to this. Im SICK of being this “strong Black woman…”. As this woman is singing, my tears are in full force. I was never an MJB fan…she stepped on the scene during some very dark times of my then emotionally draining marriage. I really think that stroke was a result of that because as soon as I let go, I crumbled. But this right here! Ive been in the bed since Sat! Havent worked since Jan! And Im Intelligent, educated, professional, and want to work! I have to. No one takes care of me BUT me! Im just tired. I have called and cried out to GOD…and I know He hears me…I do. I just got emotional awakening to MJBs performance. You who really know the words of genuine prayer….pray for me. I love life, Ive loved MY life….in spite of…. But I Am just tired😞😞😞

I'm praying for you, I understand your pain I loss my son Ken 3/21/17 and 7 days before his first Angelversary my mother was found dead in her home 3/14/18 she had COPD I've had to start over twice since losing my son 288 weeks and 2 days ago. July 7, 2020 I was taken to the hospital by ambulance my EKG showed I was having a massive heart attack I kept telling the paramedic I would be okay I just needed to get some sleep before I went into work at 11pm but he talked me into going, in the ER there's all these people nurses, paramedics, ER doctor and the Chaplin and I'm still oblivious to what they think is going on I have IV's in both arms the paddles on my chest and I'm making jokes as they're preparing me for the OR and the Chaplin asked me if I was married I said yes she asked where was my husband I said he works out of town Monday through Thursday she asked for his phone number I handed her my phone and said call from my phone so he'll answer and I heard what she said and I could hear what he said she asked where was he at he said he had left Charlotte 30 minutes ago she said you need to get here soon still I'm obviously long story short he came back into town but he didn't come to the hospital he said they wasn't going to let him in because of covid and of course it didn't hit me until after we separated yes they were going to let him in or the Chaplin wouldn't have told him to get there we had just gotten married May 29 anyway I was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with obstruction otherwise known as athletes heart I was told by my cardiologist he would give me a note for being hospitalized for 3 days but not a return to work note because he had to send me for a cardio MRI and kept telling me to avoid stress. In a blink of an eye I was told I was permanently disabled and there went my independence that I had since I turned 16 and I was 53 I've never depended on anyone to support me and my 2 children and here I was forced to trust the man who made me let my guard down because he said all the right things anyway he didn't do what I would have done had the tables been reversed. I needed open heart surgery because my heart muscle was blocking the valve that oxygenated blood flows through to my heart my cardiologist said my heart was fighting itself I was on the highest dose of metoprolol they wanted my heart rate between 51-57 at all times I think only twice it was, 116 while I was doing nothing but laying on the couch and of course I got worse after separating from being married only 6 months. I have never really prayed for myself until December 2020 except when I loss my son I prayed for God to help me because I couldn't survive my son's death without Him. I told God He said if we have faith the size of a mustard seed we could mountains and I was going to hold my mustard seed tight and if I was denied social security disability then I trusted Him to help me recover from my surgery quickly and help me find a job and away to the job I was trusting Him to keep me from becoming homeless and I trusted Him to supply all my needs. I was at the final stage of heart failure before my surgery I was literally knocking on DEATH'S door all I can say is WANT HE DO IT? God's good all the time and always right on time there's so much more I could testify about. People tell me all the time how strong I am and I let them know I'm weak but let me tell you how strong my God is He's never left me nor forsaken me He has a plan for me I don't know what it is because I should be have been buried in 2010 when I had a brain aneurysm I am a walking miracle I was in ICU for 9 days they don't know why I bled or why I stopped I said my daddy does and the nurse turned around and asked my daddy who do you know? My daddy said "I know Jesus" Hold onto your mustard seed and trust God and watch those mountains move thank you Jesus for the gift of salvation and the assurance that I'll be reunited with my son❤
