I still quote Fred's "naauughty" till this day and even as a 25 year old man that guy makes me feel very very uncomfortable I think there should be a group therapy class for anyone that grew up watching Courage the Cowardly dog

IMO “Nosferatu!” might be the funniest bit Spongebob ever did. Between the music change, the randomness of a classic horror figure’s involvement, and how Spongebob, Squidward, and the job applicant all address him with a slap-on-the-wrist kind of scolding never fails to make me laugh.

Oh yes, Courage The Cowardly Dog was my favourite nightmare fuel that kept me awake at nights. Ahhh sweet nostalgia

And also glass ceiling in his room, like who tf has those. You can fell asleep just by looking at the night sky. I guess why no one is having it, is because you need proper lays of protection and conditioning, otherwise your room would literally "melt" at day times.

Wow. Thanks for traumatizing me again with that Courage episode. I'd forgotten this episode other than the general structure, but seeing it again as an adult now is genuinely one of the most uncomfortable things ever.

I hope you'll be doing more of those. Hey, Arnold! was for me and still is #1. I liked how they made cartoons applicable for both kids and adults, right now it's either for kids or adults.

12:41 Courage was such a product of their time. The things that were allowed to pass on television in early 2000s certainly wouldn't today. King Ramses' Curse still haunts me after years (specially the creepy dubbed version from my childhood). About Hey Arnold's episode, no matter how goosebumps they gave me musical specials from Cartoon always chill me up. The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy's "Little Rock of Horrors" is probably my favorite from the series (not sure if it's from your time XD ).

How cartoons have changed today. I remember watching Courage the Cowardly Dog way too much, probably to the point of obsession. I know it was suppose to be terrifying, but most of the times, I just laughed. So many scream varieties. And Katz 🤣

It is still surprising that these shows and honestly some of these episodes were allowed to air, they were tremendous but oh boy did studios know how to scare kids back in the late 90s and early 2000s for sure. Spongebob was always great and a favorite, the graveyard shift was truly a unique episode! Though I haven't seen enough of Hey Arnold the episodes I did see were good. Courage was a favorite of mine too when I came across it growing up; even if it did make me uncomfortable or scared at times naturally. I'm not sure what it was, but just the whole look and feel of the show and how it was done felt so cool to me but also unnerving as heck!! I do know that shows like Courage were ahead of their time though with some of the things they were allowed to show and do, and they did it very well! Honestly, it's still one of my favorites to this day and holds up pretty well in what it set out to do, be entertaining but also scary/shocking at the same time.

Courage the Cowardly Dog airs on Adult Swim now so I watched the Freaky Fred episode when it aired a few months ago and it still freaks me out to this day I'm 19 btw

Hey Arnold is one of the most underrated animated series ever made. Way ahead of its time.

So many great horror episodes I remember from Nick but I think Disney did have the two best ones and in live action with Boy Meets World's "I Know What You Did Last Summer" episode and Smart Guy's Axe Murderer episode. Still remember my sister and I jumping out of our seats during those. The Bandaged Face killer episode of Case Closed on Cartoon Network was another one.

definitely want to see you react to more Courage, Specifically, if theres just 1 other episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog, i'd recommend "The Mask" its dark, but a Genuinely important landmark in tv and a lot of peoples lives. its a lot more than just a scare.

19:10 I'm gonna sound like a "ok bommer" older than my own age, but I think nowadays cartoons lack the criativity of old ones. The way Sponge Bob team mixed several styles of animation (collages, hiper-realistic etc) is singular to one of the longest airing shows. The only most recently cartoon I can think of that hits similar versatility is The Amazing World of Gumball. Or maybe I need to watch more cartoons :P

The first cartoon , i just only heard , i have seen the others , that Couraje episode is the most disturbing episode . I want part2. All the respect . You need to wach Amphibia is lime Grafity Falls , Avatar Ang , Adventure time , Steven Universe .
