BtoB are actually huge in south korea. It's just that the international fandom is pretty small compared to most of the newer groups. The demographic of most of the fandom, myself included, explains why they're not big on streaming culture.

I love you even more for doing this, btob being underrated/under appreciated, by the international fans especially, is just facts, they debuted in 2012 , so same year as Exo, Vixx, B.A.P., Nu’Est, etc. and should have a way bigger fanbase since they have one of the most talented vocal and rap lines in kpop…..they are also one of the friendliest groups and I miss the days when btob, B.A.P., and Vixx were so close, like sharing dressing rooms at music shows even though they each have their own…. This is also why Melodies were so surprised that Stray Kids chose this song to cover on Kingdom, since it’s not an easy song…Also sad to me that they seemed to get more attention when Minhyuk was discharged cuz the newer/younger fans realized that Soobin looks so much like him it’s scary instead of, y’know, their talent

Btob is not underrated. They are well established in Korea, just their international fandom is small. Even in kingdom final live voting they got the highest local votes, but their international votes were so less that the other groups overtook them. Well half the blame is on whosfan too.

I hate to be that person who brings another fandom in, but I’m really surprised how well SKZ covered this song. It really still had a lot of good touches from the original song. I’ve been a casual listener to BTOB since they came out (to the point that I still think of them as rookies. Legit I think I came into the kpop world when they debuted. They’ve come a long way). It took until Kingdom (and also the Dive Podcast) for me to really fall for them as individuals though. They’re so quirky, and chill… so damn talented. Hell. Even though they’ve always been powerful, I’ve never realized how consistently legendary there are (until Kingdom). This music video is living proof of how amazing they are. (P.S. I see you Produce/CLC cameo)

These guys are from the BAP, 2ne1, Infinite, and Big Bang eras that the MVs were mini movies. The production style and cameras kpop directors are using these days are still the same so the LOOK is still there but they’ve lost the movie magic that really captured a lot of our attention early on. Some of the groups trying to recapture that whimsy in my opinion are ATEEZ , Oneus, Dreamcatcher, Nu’est, and two groups I haven’t mentioned EXO and Seventeen. Both EXO and SVT don’t do it consistently but definitely every so often create a small kdrama in the span of 3 min. All that said, I still love when groups that have finished military duty comeback like 2pm. Proving they aren’t finished. And BTOB will do the same. And hopefully now that kpop has grown so popular internationally, we’ll see groups go to their enlistment all together to reduce the amount of time a group isn’t complete. I think BTS will be the front runners with that concept and they’ll prove how beneficial it’ll be in the long run. That was a ramble….

It's been like 5 years and I still dont fully understand the story tbh.
