Younha didn't just remake Umbrella. Epik High's Tablo (composer of Umbrella) remade it into a solo song and gave it to her to use on her 10th Debut Anniversary. 🙂

Epik High is to me the GOAT group to ever come out of Korea. I'm actually not as big a fan of some of their top-charting hits and think half or more of their discography is actually pretty subpar...but even despite that, some of their songs like 'Home is Far Away,' 'Amor Fati,' Tablo's whole Fever's End album, etc are timeless, have some of the best lyrical depth in all of music, and have deep-rooted personal and humane introspection/emotional release while still sounding good. It's akin to Eminem being one of the goats of hiphop....I'd say his discography also contains a bulk of not-so-great music, but it's his hits and peaks and lyrical skill that make him great. Epik High to me is like that, but the depth of meaning to the lyrics are what stand out to me for them.

Epik High's Umbrella. I first heard it being covered by RM of BTS on a competition show. I was obsessed with the performance, so I had to find the original song. Once I did, I went from obsessed to feral lol. I had Umbrella in regular rotation for weeks man. My intro to Epik High.

That's awesome, I love when I find a song via someone else, then when I look it up, it opens a whole new world of music... One of the best things in the world lol I think my introduction to Epik High was Born Hater, such a hype song

I have a request, Young Posse dropped their MV with features just now "Young Posse Up", but I recommend their recent debut song "Macaroni Cheese" first. It's a rap based girl group from DSP Media, same co. as KARD and Kara. They were either having Mac and Cheese or wanting it.
