Steve was one of my wrestling partners at Iowa Central in 1994. I was an All American and he was a National Champion, Amazing athlete. He made National Champions look pathetic (due respect). I have never felt power like he had, ever. He would have been a Gold Medalist in the Olympics no doubt. Steve was a funny playful person and am proud to have had the pleasure to spend time with him. When he won Nationals in college, I immediately ran to him to embrace and congratulate him on his victory, Steve was very happy he won. He won Nationals again the following year in another college,no surprise. Sadly, Steve passed away a few years later from asthmatic complications. Man, was he fun to watch. Wherever you are Steve, may you Rest in Peace Amigo. Sincerely your pal ,Mario C.

Joe Williams is considered the best IHSA Wrestler ever. He may not have been the best in his family.

Wow, a young Bob Jones officiating (and calling the unsportsmanlike conduct on the dance)....
