In 1974 I wrote to Danielle Spencer and told her how much I liked her on the show and that I was going to be veterinarian when I grew back. She sent me an autographed picture. And years later SHE became the veterinarian.

Seeing Rerun dance was the highlight of my day when it first aired and in 2022 . I remember the Hustle was a popular dance .I love the 70s . That decade had the best TV shows .

It seems like it was only yesterday I was watching this show when it originally aired, also What's Happening Now. Anyway the actors did an awesome job with their characters and brought them to life. This show was funny, entertaining and had a light hearted and heart warming moral lessons. Rest in peace to all who have passed since this show has gone off the air. In Memory of: Mabel King Shirley Hemphill Fred Berry Thalmus Rasulala All character actors and crew who have also passed. Thank you all, both still living and deceased who put together this wonderful show. It will always be a part of my childhood I look back on with the fondest memories.
