I was there... Metzger absolutely kills this.. I had a backstage pass to this show and afterwards I went back and met Scott and Joe! Both of them were amazing to meet. I was the one with an orange tie dye Phil shirt and an orange bandana. Afterwards, Metzger came outside Garcia's and chatted with me while he smoked a cigarette. Metzger is the best I've ever heard do Weir tunes. Keep it up, we want more!!!

First JRAD show for me as I drove up from MD with a buddy as I have been dying to see them! I am simply blown away by these guys and IMO they represent the future/next level of the good ol Grateful Dead music. They bring it to another level and havent been this excited since 1995. If anyone who lives around DC area- you have to go to 9:30 club this Wednesday! They simply love what they do on stage and crowd feeds of their energy......nothing left to do but smile...smile....smile!! :)

let me also add it was Dave's 50th B-day and a super treat to hear his parents jam in the Jazz Babies to open the show!! You can tell where Dave got his talents from and was just super cool!!
