Throwing a Milk Jug on the Potter’s Wheel @alchemy ceramic

Today’s project is a “Classic Milk Jug”
When was the last time I saw a milk jug in a cafe?
Cappuccino, flat white or Latte are standard orders now.
So that little cute object is no longer required or redundant?
No way ! They are nice little useful things.
Let’s bring them back on the table.
For this glaze I used Apple and Cherry Wood Ash Glaze.
I love natural wood glaze.

Thank you for your comment revdcon😊 There are few different ways. This one is easy simple one. Cut the sheet of clay in circle then cut the circle in half. Let it dry a little bit then shape it. If the clay is soft it is difficult to handle it. The attachment is the same way I have shown in the many times in the other videos. I use thin tool such as needle or bamboo stick to smooth the joint. It is better not to touch the spout itself too much. You can sand it down after biscuit firing.
