THROWING BAIT IN A DANGEROUS FLOODED RIVER IN TEXAS!

on this trip we threw some baits in the flooded trinity river. conditions were very rough, a cold front blew in the night before and dropped the temperature 30 degrees. but we managed to get a decent blue cat landed.

@fishing_fam84 Down here on the coast we joke that every toilet in Dallas flushes into the Trinity River and ends up here in Trinity Bay. Makes good fishing.

What size weight are you using when the current is high? How do you keep it from rolling?

I use a 6 to 8oz no roll sinker when I can find them that heavy. They work well in heavy current like this.
