@@fishing_fam84 both spots ..and i was wondering if you can park on Martinez Street that’s a little more south with all those streets next the river . Where it seems to be a boat ramp can we park there ?

The first spot is lake livingstone damn. Anyone can park there but it is a $10 parking fee. It's a very heavily fished spot. And same goes for the 2nd spot. It's open to the public but without a parking fee.

What kind of line do you use to attach your hook to bait

I'm using 80lb braid (reaction tackle) from Amazon. Color is sea blue. It's a very strong braid for the price. I've pulled some big fish in with. Very happy with the quality.

You should drive plastic pipe sand the put your pole in it

You are right, I should. Some spots we go to are a very long walk, so I try and pack as lightly as possible. But very good idea.

Very unsafe to leave fishing poles on the ground Tiny particles will get in your reel and you wont even know it and it will start getting suck unless you clean it but then thats alot of cleaning for every trip
