thanks for the declutter motivation. I don't think its frivolous to get rid of decor that is no longer your style. like you said you changed, and people change! I would never feel weird for changing decor. I love variety and when I buy something I try to buy something I think I will use more than once but if I'm done with it , i would never just keep it. someone else can enjoy. just like you are doing. Keep at it and don't feel weird about doing you and look you are learning too. so you are doing great!

Thank you it was very satisfying to watch. I'm glad you've still decided to show while discarding the things that can't be donated as they're the hardest things for me to declutter. I also loved the way you've filmed and organized things so it's easy to figure out what's going where. Some people just have like million bags all over the place and it's impossible to know if things are tossed, donated or just stored somewhere else 😆 I was hoping you'll open a box/bag of clothes and that you'll have some to discard as it's for me the hardest thing to declutter, the old clothes that can't be donated. I hope you'll film it the same way whenever you'll get into that even if it's just 1 or 2 things you'll find around during normal cleaning videos 😇

I am going through books too. We have lots. Books were kept because it was expected the next generation might be interested in them. But I realise most of them aren't going to make the cut. We had even kept academic books. But even if the information is still valid, it is likely that the current generation is going to be doing more learning from pre-recorded videos. I will still ask my sister (her kids are my heirs) what topics they are interested in but that's just to reassure myself that it's ok to get rid of the lot. lol. Edit: You need to be grateful to your past self for having good shelves and having things already semi-organised in bins and such. And be pleased with yourself for doing this review before things get out of hand. This would have been heaps more difficult if this was just stacked haphazardly in random boxes.

If you get some pot rack hooks, you should be able to hook them into the shelf uprights. Would be good for odd stuff like easter baskets and wreaths. ❤

Truth be told, the comment from your first video from the person saying you shouldn't throw anything away, probably has a ton of stuff cluttering their home, garage, basement etc that they could donate to people who could use it or need it..People that criticize are normally the people that have the biggest faults and are negative about so much.. trolling the net and videos to pick at others efforts.. I say, if you don't like what someone is showing in their videos, exit it as soon as it isn't to your liking and find something you do like. I got so much information and useful tips from watching your channel.. thank you for sharing with us.

As far as the pillows go, almost all throw pillow cases come off. You can pick a max number of pillows to keep (like 4), and just keep switching the pillow cases. That could save room.
