I have 3 Apache AceJet knives. They are really one of my favorites next to the Stinger. Z
@soulthrower3 жыл бұрын
I have a set of stingers up for review soon… that model is more forgiving then this as a no spin blade but not as good all round thrower… what do you think? 😇🤙
@ZZZ77733 жыл бұрын
@@soulthrower I like The Stinger all around, but the Apache throws so nice to, not as universal as the Stinger, but something about the look and feel, like you said, like a Real knife. Z

@@smsix D2 steel?? Are you sure it's D2? D2 is a hard and not tough steel, it chips more than any steel I know of even with the best heat treatment. They probably use some kind of spring steel I guess, not D2.

As a Huge lover of Knives, I must say that them are very fancy and gorgeous looking Knives. They resemble Kitchen Knives I know their primarily throwing knives but are Are they also good for combat fighting
@soulthrower2 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. They are not sharp but you can put an edge on them but... the thickness doesn´t make in easy to get a sharp and easily "cutting and slicing" knife. They would hold up for most abuse though.... 😇🤙
@marquisballard10832 жыл бұрын
@@soulthrower So in other words, because of the thickness of the Blade, its gonna be pretty hard to sharpen the edge Good news I see Marcus is that the Knives are not very brittle and they can take punishment without damage, when you used that Brick to test their durability
@greekveteran27152 жыл бұрын
@@marquisballard1083 No it won't ne more difficult just because of the thickness in the spine. It's the overall thickness though, that will provide so poor slicing performance, that no matter how sharp you make them, they will still not cut good at all. I hope I helped you, to understand blade and bevel geometries. Also, all thrrowing knives, are made with softer heat treatments, than the knives we use for cutting. That's means, they all sharpen easier, than the knives we use for cutting, because the steel is softer to maintain higher levels of toughness. (That's also why, some times when we throw knives that where meant for cutting, they break, they are heat treated harder, to maintain a sharp edge longer)
