Hey Dan, your videos have been really helpful since i started ceramics 2 years ago. I wanted to ask if you could make a video on how to make small cups with saucers. I have to do a set of cups with saucers and im not sure how to fit them together and keep them uniform easily.

Hi, very nice video. I just have a doubt about the top of the lid. As far as i know, at the top of the lid of a tajine there is something like a cup with no glaze in it. That allow you to fullfill this cup with water in order to keep the food wet even if you keep it over the stove for long time.
@trebor77808 жыл бұрын
I just made one of these. I threw the top righ-side-up then I threw it your way. Both worked fine.

I got a tagine pot as a present. It is solid but there is no glaze on it. Just on the outside. But that is not good. It must be on the inside. My question must it be glazed for kooking? Can you glaze it afterwards using normal oven at home ? Do I need high temperatures oven? Thanks Reza

Brilliant!! I just watched another potter make the lid right-side up, and now I've seen you make it upside down! I can't wait to try to make my own tajine. I keep reading about them being unglazed for cooking, so I may do that. Could you say if it's a lowfire earthenware clay? Thanks so much for all the videos!

Hello Friend. I would like to know how I can make a clay tagine for induction cooker. It should have a ferro - magnetic base of sweet iron or stainless steel. I appreciate your kind response. If possible, make a video of that work. Thanks from Ecuador

I am so excited that you did this video! You are only one step away from making a yarn Bell. Make a hole in the handle at the top and ditch the rim inside the bottom and perhaps make it a little more bell-shaped and Wham-O you have a yarn Bell. I'm just wondering how you get the hole in the top. I also noticed that every time you apply pressure to the clay on your particular pottery wheel you get a clanking sound. Are you really putting that much pressure on the clay?
