This tutorial helps a lot brother, thank you. Do you mind sharing how to have this system do damage to other mannequins, like ai enemies as well as having the spear stick on to the mannequin?

First create Blueprint Interface, add new function Spear Hit with Hit Location (vector), Spear (spear blueprint). Add it to your enemy mannequin. When we call this event, we attach component to component. (Target is SpearMesh, Parent is SkeletalMesh) In your Spear Blueprint, When your box collision collide with enemy, call this Spear Hit Function.

Hey bro can you do a tutorial or write here. How to do a target system where the camera isn’t locked on. Only the character rotates to the enemy and we can freely move the camera up down left or right. Similar to like rdr2 or a gta target lock on melee combat. All these tutorials the camera stays lockked on target. I can’t find out how to be able to move it freely left and right

You can create a collision to detect the enemy. First create Blueprint Interface, add new function Spear Hit with Hit Location (vector), Spear (spear blueprint). Add it to your enemy mannequin. is this valid for ue4 so can i use this tuto for ue4 without retargeting anims? Thanks for the tuto, this is the only spear throwing tuto I've found.👍🏻

Thanks a lot Bro. My character is not able to turn left/right. It goes up/down. I followed all the steps. But the Camare Input Mouse looks different for me. I use 5.4. Please help.
