So glad you made this! I followed your nioh 1 build for this and absolutely loved it. Playing Nioh 2 I immediately just went for this on my own and while it does seem slightly nerfed from nioh 1 it is still a lot of fun and makes bosses extremely manageable. Looking forward to more stuff in the future!

New skills are unlocked by doing Way of the Samurai, Onmyo and Ninja missions in the dojo

I'm sitting at 14 constitution, 16 skill, the rest dumped into heart. Not sure whether to do magic or ninjutsu, thinking abit of both but mostly magic for buffs :S

Very nice. Is there a second weapon you think would work well with this build? Sword for more Ki maybe?

Tonfa are a good second and also have minor dex scaling

I'd go with Constitution (spear?) and put little bit more points to Con. Ki is not a problem here. We have it in abundance since we do not use attacks much. And this is squishy build so Life is always good.

Hes right my suggestion is for more damage and ki damage his makes you a bit more tankier, so depends on how you wanna go

Just unlocked 2nd region and have some fuma gear and all my gear has either ninjutsu or kunai damage% on it. Can I start melting bosses decently now in second region?

Sure. It is still most op build in the game i think. Until i come up hopefully with something better for end game. Use storm kunai against large bosses. Works like shotgun.

I still haven't beaten nioh 1. Would now be a good time to replay it? Or do you think most players are gone to nioh 2?also will this build work for both games?

It works for both and i have both on this channel so you can check and compare. Where most players are should make no difference unless you plan on using online features a lot.

Sword weapon is better for kunai dmg since it has thrust dmg

It is 5% only with all the upgrades. If Kusa is not needed in the fight then ok, i agree. When thrown stuff gets nerfed then Sword will be barely used. As things stand now, you are correct
