The finish product is absolutely amazing, you take the size of wheel throwing to another level. I started throwing last week. Hoping to be able to make big vases eventually

it is form of art. 1 spin on the wheel is each "nod". by nodding my head, I'm able to be "one" with the wheel and my work, it helps me focus as well as go into a trance. Kunisaki Roy Yuichiro

When turning and placing the top part of the vase to the bottom do you wait until the clay is more hardened?

those are amazing! I bet he has to be VERY careful when they're in the bony dry stage... you accidentally knock it over, and it would break. what a pain that would be.

Hello, Roys prices are reasonable but you would need to contact him directly for specific prices. He has various websites - just type his name in Goggle and a bunch of websites will show up. Roy is very approachable and friendly so e-mail him with questions. He is wonderful teacher also. I have been taking lessons from him for years and I am constantly amazed by his creativity.

@colieollie0308 Watch Simon Leach... he does something similar. I always assumed he was just rapidly changing his viewing perspective to ensure symmetry, but it could just be a subconscious thing. Humans are weird. ;)
