Yep that's true. I remember one of the easy questions in one of the older shows was what is the name of the clan of vampire hunters in Castlevania. Back then I would not have known the right answer was the Belmonts.

Yeah, there seems to be a bit of myopia on the part of TRG or whoever writes the questions here. You'd have to know about Pokémon Generation 1 to get that particular question, and I remember in the past people didn't know the name of Mega Man's arch-nemesis or Samus's last name - if you weren't familiar with either franchise, you probably wouldn't know. I mean, Mega Man and Metroid are such mainstream franchises that have sold hundreds of millions of copies and which the general public is aware of, right?

@@23mrbee I would still say that not knowing the tetris theme is worse. Since the question was specifically about yellow which doesn't follow the rest of the games formula. Cause knowing the gen 1 starters is easy, but knowing that pikachu was a forced starter except for the anime i would say is harder.

I meant that i think that as far as knowledge goes i think more people would recognize the tetris theme than would be able to tell a a specific pokemon as an answer. I believe you have uploaded this Thrown Controllers already. This was the first one I watched on KZbin a while ago. The seed spitting, the mario kart with Yoshi cutting through the grass, the yellow question, and especially the Aladdin contestant are all still fresh in my mind. I don't know if the old video was deleted and you re-uploaded it or if someone else uploaded it on a different channel, but I've definitely seen this on KZbin before. Not that I'm bothered by a repeat as I love the Thrown Controllers shows.
