The improvemet goes hard! Choosing Chaos as a new player is an ambitious decision. Also something I noticed during promotion or demotion the game puts you in the least populated room by default for some reason. I myself am just noticing this with around 250 hours on the game 😭😭

I don't remember exactly when, but, while learning chaos I stood alone on floor 5 for a good 10 minutes. That's why in some clips I am Fighting in the Park. The chaos choice is pretty much aesthetic. After I bought it I looked it up and regretted the decision lol.

I originally wasn't interested in fighting games at all, and i came from playing MK11 cassually with my sister on the xbox, just button mashing every single round. fast forward to 5 years later, and i find a sequel animation to POOTIS ENGAGE, POOTIS ENGAGE -EXTREME-. Now, Ceno0, the creator of the animation, included "find your one way" and "armor clad faith" in the BGM of the animation, and while watching i noticed how good the music was and proceeded to go looking for it. I found "smell of the game", and realizing this wasn't quite the song in the video, but clearly the same singer and guitar, I Looked for more. I ended up searching "guilty gear" for the first time. I found the entire soundtrack, I listened, i looked for what it actually was, and found out it was a game. An anime game. an anime fighting game. From there, i fell down the rabbit hole. I found gameplay, it looked amazing, but the thing that really caught my interest was Potemkin. I searched for gameplay of specifically potemkin, and I was hooked on every single frame. I didn't know it yet, but from that moment onward, i was a grappler main. I went looking for where to get the game, found it on steam, and there was one problem. pricetag. luckily, had a friend i was talking to, telling him how i wanted the game. then he said he actually played, and he was generous enough to gift me the game, in exchange for him having someone to consistently play with that wasn't in tower. I got the game sometime between Jan 1st and 4th, and 10 months and 300 hours later, i can safely say this is probably the best game i've played since titanfall 2. The soundtrack, the characters, the lore, the writing, the gameplay, the fact that it got me into an entirely different genre of gaming that i never knew i loved, and now in my top 3 played games of 2024. and by best game, i dont exactly mean that it's above all the others, but as far as the impact it has had on my gaming, it has had the greatest impact since my time playing Minecraft and titanfall 2. conclusion? the rumors were true, it's a 40 dollar pack of 7 rock albums with a free game attatched.

I started with the same mk with 2 friends, buttons smashing with scarlet and having some fun here and there. Randomly after trying out Street fighter 6 (cus I wanted to play juri) I decided it was not the game for me. After a month I wanted to play a fighting game because it was the only big genre I never cared to learn. Fast forward a month I learn guilty gear, fast forward another another month here's the video. Even if not for recording or competitive the game is fun BUT THE MUSIC, AAAAA THE MUSIC-

I am now 18 and I have been making videos since I was 9/10, this is the only stable channel I had during the years and something like 3 videos ago I decided to get my shit togheter to post something watchable and not just a cut-sound-cut. It's depressing to see a video get 40 to 0 views but now that I actually went for a good video the results are here. Quite depressing to see all the time wasted but it is what it is. Bridget is not a trap, just a trans woman. Yeah, she had the trap rep for a long time, but this game she identifies herself as a woman, quite nice character arc actually. Just wanted to say that because there still is some people being against this character being trans, and this had people come with real hatred toward trans people. So acknowledging she isn't a trap is good for preventing that hate.

Bridgette falls (for me) under the idea/joke of a trap by all meanings. I saw some reddit post of people going insane(in a bad way) about the fact Bridgette is trans lol, also on Twitter there are people who wanted to review bombing the game just because of her.

If you are looking for players in the tower 99% of the playerbase plays on NA east servers and just matchs on there to make things easier. Just remember to check ping before u hit ready and you should be fine

Strive is also the game that got me into fighting games, never touched one until i got it for christmas after listening to the OST for god knows how long. Started with Testament mainly because cool big scythe. Now im just about in celestial maining Bedman? / Millia Rage, getting into Dragonball FighterZ and looking to get SF6. If you need any tips for a specific matchup or a general rundown on what each character wants to do in a match then i should be able to answer, unless its Zato-1. Nobody plays him so i have basically never fought him.
