You are probably hyperextending you fingers. It’s kind of hard to explain but when you release the shot you hand shouldn’t bend back farther than it already was with pushing it into your neck.

Please get it right!. The "ball· is a shot. Putt is to throw, Shot putt is throwing the shot. The activity is shot putt. Ex GB shot putter Alan Carter . Shot comes from a cannon ball which came in a variety of sizes 4 lb, 6 lb shot, 12 lb and 16 lb shot. Shot putt began when soldiers had competitions to see who could throw or putt the shot the farthest.
