Do you still look at battery chargers, and if so which would be the ultimate on these days? Because wirecutter recommends a panasonic one or a la crosse bc1000, which I believe is the same as the technoline chargers. But I don't know if they're actually the best.

There's a lot of good Chargers but what I found is lithium ion batteries heat up a lot with fast Chargers so really the best ones will accept 26650 and 21700 cell in addition to 18650. As far as regular double a c and d Ni-Mh Chargers and most Li-Ion Chargers are compatible with Ni-Mh batteries

It's fairly normal for any light to throttle down after 30s-4 min....... Plus, we all know we aren't supposed to keep any light on turbo. this mode is only intended for short bursts. Be nice if it wAS possible to keep any light on Turbo tilhe charge depleted w/o the light getting vaguelywarm....butth probably next to impossible....for now.
