Doing ab exercises has really helped me as you gain much more control over the angle of penetration and freedom of movement. Something I have developed is mixing trusting form the glutes with thrusting from the hamstrings, once your glutes get tired. That's imo also a good tip for women doing pegging/strap on related stuff since they are often less used to thrusting than men for obvious reasons.
