It's not always possible to find a foot that is the "correct" thickness, so what I did was take a piece of 3M "Command" Velcro and stick that in place. The "Velcro" part is little pieces of stiff plastic that provide enough friction to make the throttle not flop around. P.S. I agree with the comment about the videos, though it's not unique to this gentleman. Thanks for the fix!

Genius idea. But that's a big beefy handle and intuitively, one would expect even a bit more resistance. To achieve that on mine I also added a velcro strip on each side low enough to scrape the groves of the slots. The result was the throttle even surpassed the maximum yoke maximum resistance settings and, of course will stay put at any percentage of engine speed desired. So satisfying to have that beefy resistance I expected and a real joy to fly. Was so excited with this extra step I had to share my results. 😊

Maybe, can always try. Problem is that because the handle moves in a curve it kinda wants to roll up everything that's not glued into place.

hey zes I'm talking about something a bit different but maybe you can tell me, what are your throttle settings in msfs because when I pull the throttle down it stays on 20% lvr and doesn't go down anymore.

I never changed any settings, it works just fine for me out of the box. What you might want to do is to check your controller settings in Windows. Assuming you are on Windows 10 hit start and type "set up usb game controllers" and choose the first hit. choose your controller, go to properties, then settings and calibrate. That might fix your issue.

I am planning on doing something similar by using double sided tape to attach a piece of foam pipe insulation on either side

It will probably work, anything that adds resistance. As long as you can make it stay in place. It's kind of a shame this is such a good cheap HOTAS setup but it doesn't work that well out of the box.

There is a screw on the bottom you can tighten to solve this i read somewhere

The joystick half has a knob underneath to adjust resistance, as is usual for most joysticks. The throttle lever doesn't have any adjustments on it.....there is no way to fix it unless you open it up or do something like this.

So bro I noticed that like you don't have a lot of comments so maybe I'll get your attention do me a favor though next time you do a video that's educational like this please spend more time on the solution and less time on the problem I'm already dealing with the freaking throttle issue I don't need two minutes worth of the problem I need the 30 seconds worth of the solution though see what I'm saying bro stay up stay positive keep doing videos though
