I had the Thrustmaster cheapy pedals that come with basically every wheel under $300 I was debating getting a shifter or new pedals until the gas pedal spring broke, after watching this video its good to see i spent the extra CAD$60

hi there, just came across your video, thanks. I bought a 2nd hand set from a guy that used them in gt invertered position. I want to change them back to F1 floor position. question is how does the game or base or pc/console etc know that the gas & the clutch have been changed round because I don't want to be accelerating with my left foot. How does it work please?

I'm whatever game you are using you should be able to calibrate pedals and have the option to switch gas and clutch. I think in project cars for example you press the pedal you want to map to each function, then calibrate to check the full range of the pedal and if they were mapped correctly.

@@CinnTech0451 Ok thank you. I contacted Thrustmaster after I commented to you here and they replied by stating to press the mode button which is red for floor mounted f1 floor position style and green for suspended (gt/rally position style)

I know that the brake pedals have the mods to make them feel better under braking, but what about the accelerator. Can you tell any difference between the Pro and the stock pedal?

Can't compare the pro to Thrustmaster stock, but compared to the Logitech G920 pedals, it feels smooth with constant light resistance. It probably feels more realistic on more pricey pedal sets, but for the cost of this one, it feels great!

I did want to ask does anyone know how to set them as inverted when using them standalone like this cause im going with the exact same set up just I'm wanting to run them inverted but how to set it as inverted is it through software or game?

No mate if you hold the mode button In it will change the pedals around

If my setup were better than my current situation, I would probably prefer the realistic ones, but my setup is kind of awkward as is. I am comfortable with the stock brakes and don't like the dampener as I have to brake harder which tends to move my chair back.

Hey, when you're racing, do the pedals feel like they're really far apart?? They look that way, but I would 100% rather buy these than the Logitech pedals lol. No joke

They do not feel that way to me when I'm racing with them. The Logitech pedals always felt together for me personally, and I much more prefer the Thrustmasters which are spaced a little further appart

You can't change the physical pedal spacing, it's fixed on the base. You can however move the pedal heads one notch left or right on all pedals and one notch either up or down on the gas pedal.

Hi. I have a Thrustmaster TMX Force Feedback, will this work with it?

Does it have a Jack on the back of the wheel that looks like an Ethernet port? If it does, it will work plugged into the wheel. If not, you will need the USB adapter shown in the video to have your PC recognize it as a second USB input.

@GlockWiseSB Don't think so, In real life the gas pedal is always in your right foot, in every country. The reason thrustmaster allows to swap the gas pedal to the left and the clutch pedal to the right, is to roll the whole pedal set upside down to imitate how the street cars have it (pedal hinges connected up) after rolling the whole pedal set upside down then you have again the gas pedal in the right foot.

Yeah, it could be more comfortable but my desk is pretty shallow and the pedals are already against the wall with no ability to move further back. Someday I may have the room and budget for a racing seat, but my current situation won't allow it :(

Thrustmaster is indeed superior in quality, but one thing I like about the Logitech is the all-metal pedals, and the pedal faces. Thrustmaster has some parts with plastic and the faces for me look odd. It's not a huge problem though
