Good that it worked for you. After trying different methods including paying stupid money for magnet that only fixed it for a short time or opening up the yoke and connecting and disconnecting the cable of the 2 throttle axis and calibrate several times I discovered that the only PERMANENT solution was for me to disconnect the cable of the 2 throttle axis and leave it disconnected. As I have 2 throttle quadrants the throttle levers on the yoke are useless to me. Shame that Thrustmaster does not care about all people having this issue to offer a solution of even develop a revised version of the yoke given I purchased mine only a few months ago and it started twitching within a couple of months of using it.

Hey Phantom… thanks for taking the time to watch & comment, appreciated. Sorry to hear you’re having the same issue. It’s really not good enough for something that isn’t a cheap bit of hardware, poorly made from substandard material. Hopefully WinWing will develop a Boeing style yoke as their kit would blow Thrustmaster out of the water. Tell me, when you unplug the throttle sliders do you recalibrate the yoke without them? I might also give that a go because I also have a throttle quadrant so they’re pretty much redundant. Thanks again, happy simming 👊✈️

@@seven3simmer NP, I subscribe to your channel so appreciate the videos. When I calibrated the yoke I calibrated everything yoke and throttle but, obviously, being disconnected I knew it would not make much of a difference but I did it anyway just to stick to the process. That was it and it has worked ever since. I hope WinWing will create something as they do amazing tech.

@phantom682 ай бұрын
Turn the yoke up side down, unscrew the six screws at the bottom of the yoke, lift up the plastic casing, you should be able to see a piece of green PCB. Carefully hold the connector attached to the PCB with a cable leading to the mini throttles, unplug the cable carefully and store is safely somewhere on the side where it does not make contact, screw the six screws back in. Calibrate the yoke as per Thurstmaster guidelines. Be very gentle as the cable is very thin and fragile and you would not want to break an expensive piece of kit. I do not know if it works for others but it worked for me and i have done several flights so far and not a single issues

finally!!! i got this yoke last year in december, within 3 months i was having issues so i went to tm support, fixed yoke and sent it back however it was happening again so they sent me a brand new yoke but once again few months ago it started happening once more so i gave up but gave it a try after seeing this video and it seems to work so far thankyou!

Hey, thanks, hope this can be helpful for you. What I would say is my issue does intermittently come back but I just repeat the process to get it going again. It’s not ideal and completely unacceptable for a premium piece of hardware but at least it’s a workaround so you don’t have to fork out to send the yoke back to thrustmaster. Hi Colin, it might do. Since making the video I have had to also recalibrate the pitch axis to about 90% too. It’s a bit of a sticking plaster and I’m sure it’ll come back over time but it’s a vast improvement on what I was getting before. Thanks for watching & commenting, appreciated 👍✈️

please! it's a workaround, not a fix. I have the same issue. this yoke has serial production/engeneering faults. period. nothing helped for me: no magnet, not unpluggong the two front sliders, not recalibrating via built in recalibration; ALLTHOUGH: i found out, that uninstalling the Thrustmaster-drivers (after Firmware updating) and using the windows built-in USB Gamecontrollers calibration, my flickering on the X-axis to the left side when moving on the Y-axis seems to be automatically corrected slightly, because the cross moves to center in idle yoke position. that leads to still sometimes having short flickering to the left of the 3D yoke in the cockpit when I push or pull, but I have disturbances in the controlling of the aircraft. so that works as a workaround for me, until I will send it back.

There’s so many people with the issue, it’s really not good enough for something that’s not a cheap bit of hardware. Thanks for sharing your solution, I might have a look at that too.
