Dalida Love in Portofino [LIVE] (Titre créé et composé pour Dalida en 1959) / Dalida Officiel

En 1959, Dalida immortalise Portofino avec la chanson "Love in Portofino", inspirée par son coup de cœur pour cette ville italienne en 1958, partagé avec Lucien Morisse. Aidée par Jacques Larue, Fred Buscaglione et Léo Chios, elle crée une ballade romantique qui propulse Portofino sur la carte touristique, attirant les amoureux grâce à son charme captivant.
En 1960, le maire de Portofino remercie Dalida pour son rôle dans la transformation de la ville en un lieu de rencontre romantique.
Aujourd'hui, sa voix envoûtante continue de résonner dans Portofino, rendant hommage à cette destination pittoresque. "Love in Portofino" reste un pilier de l'album éponyme de Dalida, enregistré en trois langues pour toucher un public international.

Dalida's this song made me go to Portofino Italy! At the time in the 50's I lived in Beirut and on Sundays she had at least this song and few others demanded by people in a program. I grew up with all these romantic songs and I'm so happy I became a romantic lover and after beauty!

At that time I lived in Haifa and was listening to Beirut radio as well as Monte Carlo and others. My dream was to take the train to Beirut as my father used to do, but the train was cut in 1948 and not yet reconnected. 😢 But Dalida was loved and adored all over the globe! (I was 57 when I finally visited Portofino).
