A Fiat Ducato Westfalia Amunsden Upgraded With The Thule 12V Electric 550MM Slide-Out Step With Vehicle Specific Fitting Kit
A lot of the Coach Built and Converted Fiat Ducato Based Campervans are great but as the vehicles ride quite high it's not always the easiest to get into.
There are steps and then there are the Thule Slide-Out Steps. These are fully electric that can either be operated via an Internal Switch or be automatic when the side door has been opened. If you go for the Switch version then a warning buzzer will sound if you try to start the vehicle to notify you that it's still out. You can also upgrade them with a great looking LED Strip Light.
This is a slightly different version of the Thule Slide-Out Step as it has a specific fitting / mounting system for the Fiat Ducato, Citroen Relay, Peugeot Boxer Platform.
The step comes in either 400, 550 or 700mm in length.

Your internal switch located at the B-column is a rectangled one. Is that a origin? I bought a Thule step but it has the round switch and it is dificult to install just at the B-column.

Don't forget to mention a lot of vehicles have fairly low clearance and if you're going off-road this will just get ripped off buy the first rock
