Hi mate did u get the bike with them the Ak-7 back rim with the writing on it? I’m from Sydney Australia I ordered a 140 Tsx last week still waiting on it I was just wondering if I was gonna get the same style rim?

The bike came exactly as in this video. So your bike should be the same as this one.

It’s a great bike for the $$, I bought this for my son, I have a KTM myself. Seriously considering selling the KTM and buying the bigger Thumpstar, 230cc for myself.i am 115kg and have ridden in 140cc and it still handles it no problems.

I got one of these and the rear spokes got destoryed.. Trying to find a new rear tire.. oem thumpstar rear tire is 180 which is such a rip off.

What happened to the spokes?? Why do you need a tyre? Did the spokes damage the tyre? $180 seems cheap. I doubt you find one cheaper unless you find a second hand one. Or may be check eBay.

What did you do to make it idle so well. I got mine last week and it doesn’t idle like that so just wondering if you did anything to get it like that.

Adjust idle speed may be. Depends on what yours is doing. Also make sure you use quality fresh fuel.

It does idle, but after I have given it a few revs. Then go for a ride and it goes wicked, but if I have to stop it won’t idle and stalls. I’ll try the idle speed and yep I put 98 in it

Probably just up the idle speed a bit and it should be fine. We also use 98 in it. Also use quality motorbike oil. Check out our service video on this bike. 👍

1:28 chain guard? I have a bike identical to yours and I only see it protecting the sprocket So it's actually more of a SPROCKET guard

Never broken down. Not sure what you mean by a lot of serving. It needs to be serviced at the regular service intervals like every petrol powered car/bike/machinery. The more you ride it the faster the service intervals come up.

Hi Mike long time mate hopefully you’ve been well, I just got the 2021 model, can u please help me out with spoke tool size for these bikes? I need to tighten my spike nipples but I don’t know which size to buy.

I have been watching your video's looks like a nice bike. Sorry I have no idea about the spoke nipples, have not had to touch ours. Our bike is still going good without issues.

@@MikesManCave thanks mike mate I recently got it, I’ve actually figured it out! The spoke tool size for our bikes are size 5.6 to 6.0 tip heads in case u need to ever tighten up!

@@MikesManCave you’re welcome mate, it amazes me mike your bike has not needed any maintenance besides the odd oil change since u got it, I’ve had to play around with the Carbie, get a spoke tool to tighten the spokes as they were really loose, touch wood you’ve done well with thumpstar.

It’s a kids bike. So I would say at 95kg get a full sized adult bike.

@@bonzoligist6330 I can ride its, I can also (and have) ridden a 50cc pit bike, does not mean. its ideal. Yes I can ride it and at 90kg you can also ride it, but I would not be buying one for that purpose if I was 90kg. There is no weight rating on the bike but I would say if you were any more than 60kg get a bigger bike to ride.

Nice lookin bike, but unfortunately the dealer in my area is supposed to be a complete ass, plus I'm not seeing any parts for these. T Bolt is 'on backorder' seems with every part on the bike. Those are 2 major concerns for me, and I want one like NOW!

Never used a dealer, bought it straight from their web site and had it delivered to my house.Never had any issues getting parts, simply order online and they get delivered to your front door within a few days.

I have yet to find any year, make or model Thimpstar that isn’t on backorder (besides this local dealer that won’t even allow you to slightly cut the box open to make sure it’s an actual bike, and of your requested and paid for CCs, instead of a highly damaged weed eater from Africa!

@@mikem9953 Are you looking at the thump star website?? I just checked and it looks like most bikes are available and in stock for immediate delivery. I would not be buying from a dodgy dealer. I would buy from thrumpstar direct.
