7:40, klaatu barada nikto was first uttered in the 1951 epic, The Day the Earth Stood Still, and has been referenced in many other works of popular culture since. Apparently, there is some race of aliens, one of which is named Klaatu. Somewhere in the film, an alien on his deathbed utters Klaatu Barada Nikto, interpreted as "save earth." Well, the person writing the script put it in because "he thought it sounded cool." I think that's how they came up with Klingon in Star Trek.

in two player mode, the players can shoot at each other with the atoms they collected and i’m pretty sure they get three or so to start out with, so it isn’t exactly what you said it was, but still, nice video!

Two goofs in the video: The analogue-controller came out in 1997. This game came out in 1996 (in North America). Hence It couldn't have supported a controller that didn't exist yet! (And while the EU release was in 1997, do you really think they'd add it later, given the effort put into it?) And when you compare it to "other games the same year" you have footage of Banjo-Kazooie and Spyro, but both came out in 1998. Other games would include Crash 2, Pandemonium 2, Jersey Devil (EU version), Croc and Gex 3D: Enter the Gecko

Im sorry but i loved this game back in the 90s. It was the first ever game i got when i was kid. I played every day. I even played multi player with my sis now and then. Ok graphics and audio arent exactly coming out the latest engines we get in ps4 games nowadays but back then it was the best they had. I havnt played Bubsy 3D in a few years now but i still love it to this day, despite its old school graphics and sounds and the way it got more harder as you progressed and also the lack of saving. But this game will always be a favourite of mine for the ps1. Most people who say its bad obviously werent around when this first came out. Theyre all about the next and current gen graphics engines and blah blah blah. Maybe some people were around then that dont like it. But i know im one who loves this game and will never stop. But its good to play some old school classics like Bubsy or Croc or Crash Bandicoot etc. I mean ok i play ps4 games and love what games come next but i still play the games around in the 90s haha and im 21 so i was about 4 when i had my first ps1. Basically all im saying is, people who werent around when this game hit the shelves, dont be so quick to judge. I know its not the best game ever, but its still a good brain teaser though.

Didnt wanna tell me xD the reason i liked it alot is because yeah ok it was probably because it was the first game i played but it was also because i played it alot, its a childhood memory. It was a game i could never complete unless i used passwords. Plus the memories of me and my sister both playing it like it was the cats pyjamas. I would hate to see ''Bubsy in Furbidden Planet'' for the Game Boy Color with a similar plot like Bubsy 3D but is a 2D side scrolling game. It would have been developed by David A. Palmer Productions and published by Crave Entertainment in 1999.

Captain Wander It don't exist, but they could have made Bubsy 2D in Furbidden Planet back for the Game Boy Color in 1998, as David A. Palmer Productions and Crave Entertainment has made 2D versions of 3D games for the Game Boy Color such as Gex: Enter the Gecko, Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko, and Pitfall 3D: Beyond the Jungle. It would be better than it's 3D counterpart, but would have horrible audio and controls.
